| \"Trip Report\" Chicagoland Disney Scrapbook Meet April 16, 2005 I read on the Passporter Listserv that there was going to be a mini meet of Disney people (from Passporter and other groups) for Scrapbooking on April 16 in Chicagoland. I was free that day and on a scrapbooking roll, so I decided to go. The meet was held in Downer's Grove at Memories and Beyond. I had never been there before, but easily found my way there. There were 5 other Disney scrapbookers in attendance. The crop room was big and we had it mostly to ourselves. We spent a lot of time talking and looking at each others' albums. Everyone else knew each other and had cropped together before, but they welcomed me with open arms. They even gave me a little goodie bag with a mini can of Mickey coffee, some mickey head punched paper, sheet of mickey phrase stickers, an EPCOT postcard and a WDTC lanyard card! One of the croppers, John, brought his computer and showed us his movie/slideshow of his trip which was set to music. It was so cool. The owner lady even came in to see what was going on. He inspired me and I already have worked on putting our last trip into a movie format. I still have to figure out how to add music, but I am getting there.
All in all we had fun. I got several pages done. I guess they are going to schedule another crop for next month, so keep your eyes open for an email about the crop.
Here is a picture of everyone.
I feel so short.
Maggie

| Re: \"Trip Report\" Chicagoland Disney Scrapbook Meet April 16, 2005 You probably don't want to hear this, but I got a whole brag book done for my MIL for mother's day. It was basically just border strips on the side and bottom of the page and at the top each page has a diamond with a mother quote printed on vellum. I got my mom's book about half way done too.

| Re: \"Trip Report\" Chicagoland Disney Scrapbook Meet April 16, 2005 Maggie, it sounds like you had a fun time! I can't believe you got that much done again. I guess there is no stopping you. At the next PP meet at MOA, Michelle and I had better take notes from you about how to get pages done! |
