Come on Cheryl! It's not like it is Kali River Rapids or something - you don't get THAT wet - sometimes just a smidge damp!

Sarah and I are in for the Mountain attack!

Hmmmm... you've obviously never seen how wet I am when I get off Splash - I must attract everyone else's water!

I love Splash, but not when I'm going to be wet and cold afterwards - and that's the truth!

We'll just have to hope for good weather then!!!

It's got to be warmer than it was in 2002 - we went that year in fleece, jackets, hats and gloves - AND STILL froze!

(And yes - that's the time my girls got STUCK on Splash Mountain - at 11 pm - at 34 degrees Fahrenheit!!)

And I was just starting to think I was a wimp and thought I better ride it no matter how cold it is...hmmm. I'm back with Cheryl now and going to see how warm it is. I tend to get a good drenching on it, too. I may pass at the 7:30 time if it's really cold - but I'm definitely going to ride it right before the park closes. I've never done Splash at night and no one else in my family likes it, so I never get the chance to do it. I love Splash and think it would be awesome at night!!!

Marv - you are gonna LOVE Splash at night - it is sooooo much fun! We do Splash at night every opportunity we get - and usually many times in a row!! BTMRR is really fun at night as well! Of course - they are a lot more fun when it is warm!!

In September - which you'll find out if I ever finish my trip report - we decided to skip Spectromagic and do the rides (my teenagers request) - and we actually saw a bunch of Spectro from the top of the Mountain!! It was REALLY cool! We've also seen flashes of the Epcot fireworks from there.

UGH.. you guys picked two of my least favorite rides ( splash & BTMR) but hey if everyone's doing it so am I. especially since I've conquered ALL of my ride fears ( well, except for Astro orbiter)

EXCEPT...

if it is cold.. then I might opt out of Splash don't want to be misreable for the rest of the evening

I wonder if we'll have time to do more than the mountains? I suppose it depends on crowds. They should be less at that time being people will be waiting for the parade. I think it'd be fun to get a group on Buzz, too. Any other ride suggestions?

I had mentioned this once before, an entire theatre full of Passporters on Carousel of Progress
Singing "It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....." It's stuck in your head now, huh?
I'm not sure it'll be open though

Sorry... I can imagine Zack's eye-rolling already (and that's not a comment on your beautiful singing voices. ) We'd hoped to get Splash, BTMRR, and Pirates in before the meet. If there's time, I'd love to spend it with some of the characters that are out and about, as well. Can't wait to play with everyone!
