Another Mousefest Question - Names

Do you think of people using their screen names or their real names??? Mine is easy because they are the same, but some of you are more complicted! I am afraid when I get there I won't know anyone's real name, only their screen names.

Re: Another Mousefest Question - Names

Maggie, if you call me by my screen name I won't be upset! But my PP tag has "Sue" on it, for ease of remembering.

I think of people with their real names if I know them (either personally or if I know them well from the Boards without meeting them). If it's someone that I'm not very familiar with, I probably would only remember their screen name.

(Did that make sense? )

Re: Another Mousefest Question - Names

I think that most of us use our real names in our signatures. I have no problem being called by my screen name, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't respond, as I'm not used to being called "ripkensnana" audibly. So my lack of response wouldn't be from being stuck up or shy, it would be from lack of knowing who you're talking to.

Even though I won't be at Mousefest this year, I do answer to both Chrissi and Beaner. Though it is strange to hear anyone other than my dad call me that out loud. And no one other than my dad calls me by my real name: Christina.

I'll be making it easy for fellow PP Mousefesters.
I'll be wearing a PP pin with my screen name and a Guest of Honor badge with my real name

Re: Another Mousefest Question - Names

I've got two Passporter Badges - one with my real name, and one with my screen name.

Right now - I've got my real name one on my Passporter Pouch - which I wear at all times when in WDW.

I'm sure we'll figure it out!

Can't wait - it's coming up quickly!!! I'm finishing up my packing this morning! (Gotta work on sub plans, etc, tonight and tomorrow - three days off at the end of the marking period is NOT a good idea - thankfully, Wednesday's an early release day!)

Re: Another Mousefest Question - Names

I have PP badges with both my screen name and my "real" name on them. Which one I wear will depend on a whim I guess! But chances are good that both will be displayed on either myself or a bag I carry.

My PassPorter Badge has my screen name but it's not far off from my real name since it is my name.

Christina - my family nickname is also Beaner... but only my brother stills calls me that (mostly because he's larger, stronger and faster than I am!!)

I'll answer to either my screenname or Eileen -- or Calder will turn around when he hears Caldercup...
