Awards Earned at Day Camp - Day 5

Achievements:
No more achievements worked on today.

Electives:
4e - Play a game of marbles. All the boys went outside and sat on the sidewalk. They drew rings with chalk for small groups of boys to play.
11f - Sing with your den at a pack meeting. They sang some of the songs they learned yesterday at the family day program this afternoon. They considered that a pack meeting for day camp.
17a - Tie an overhand knot...

The saying you can't really understand someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes is never so powerful until you find yourself misunderstood. I find that this happens most while in transition, when old circles of people keep spinning in their familiar, habitual orbits and you begin spinning off into something new.

5a - Point out, name and tell the purpose of 7 tools
5c - Tell difference between Phillips and standard screws, use the right screwdriver to put one in a piece of wood and take it back out.
5d - Show how to use a hammer.

Today was the second Sunday that the seven pound angel named Karl came to church. I think that is pretty good, since he is only a few weeks old and, basically, the only Sunday that he missed was his first morning out in the air.
