I ramble. I can go on and on, and not make much sense. Somethings just swirl around in my head, sometimes I just want to be stupid. Sometimes I just need to get some things down.

I wonder if I've always been that way--although I hated writing when I was in school.

I wonder if it's because I have 4 kids and I've been a stay at home mom for so long--with lack of communications of people my own age!!!

It's been ages since I've done a blog. It's not that I don't ramble on a daily basis, I just have forgotten to do it on here!!

Oh my gosh, how excited am I that there's a great gal coming from Florida for a week's vacation HERE in Indiana! At my house!!! Oh the fun we are going to have! Between the 4 kids and the 4 animals and the hubby, well what could be more fun?

I hope she doesn't get knocked out when she walks outside and smells that fresh country air........um...

My ramblings for today

I'm tired. I really, really wish I could take a nap and I might yet!!! This time change, I still haven't gotten my 8 hours of sleep!!

Gabby and I went grocery shopping today. Spent a fortune. But I did pick up some beautiful Ribeye steaks that I'm going to prepare on my b-day in less than two weeks--12 days actually. I also picked up some round steaks. Put them in the freezer for later use.
But I'm going to grill/broil a couple tonight. Slice them real thin and put them...

Spiced+Ham=Spam.

LOVE IT!!!

Tonight is Spam Casserole.

Okay, it's nothing gourmet but it is macaroni, cheese, cream of mushroom and SPAM.

Seriously, I love the stuff. I love Ramen too.

But I really, really love a medium rare ribeye with a big, loaded baked potato.

Bought a sweeper!!

Now I can suck.


Oooooookay. that was really bad.

I had to buy a new sweeper today. My old one's handle was being held together by duct tape and even that wasn't working well. Then it starts spitting everything back out at me.
So I borrowed my MIL's old canister. She can have it back, NOW. It's horrible. She really should just get rid of it since she's been using my old sweeper(well I've been the one running it)for the last 10 years.

A major slap in the face

So, I'm sitting here adjusting to the fact that I got up at 4:26am and have already stripped my bed and am planning to move my computer hutch(it's not holding a computer even!!). I've got several things going on.

Then it hit me.

Today is November 2. The anniversary of the day Kristy was killed.
I miss her like crazy.

It's true when you hear that it never goes away completely, that it hurts STILL, but each year does get a little easier....
