Made the final payment yesterday on our dues for the cottage this year.
It was kind of funny. When I called, the lady who handles the dues payments recognized me by name and asked about the kitten we rescued during our trip last year! I was amazed to realize she didn't just remember us as our kitty's new family, but our new kitty girl's name, too. 
One more reason to love Knoebels. It's like being Norm and walking into Cheers. Everybody knows your name. 
It really feels real now! We're leaving in 15 days!
My oldest and dearest friend may be joining us for just our first night of the trip. I'll let y'all know if and how that works out.
DJ's getting excited. He's making a list of his top five must-do's on day 1 and insists I write it "in ink" on the Day 1 PassPocket in my PassPorter. LOL! His list is a bit long for "five things", so I'm helping him scale it down.
So far, his list includes the bumber cars (on his list about 8 times
), the trains, Cosmotron, ice cream (also on the list several times), playing Fascination, going to the pool, playing mini-golf, marching in Kozmo's afternoon parade, driving a boat, riding the little coaster, watching the Sklooosh! close enough to get wet, going down the BIG water slide, eating a banana (it's his list ), and panning for "diamonds" at the mining operation. I think that's a bit much for Day 1. Oh my goodness!
