When full circle comes around and you feel back on track.

Cycles are so dynamic and hard to predict but, at the same time, the resolution is often SO predictable. The predictable cycles that always lead you back to something familiar and good are what I call perfect cycles.

A perfect cycle seems to come right around and end up back where you started...at equilibrium. I think everyone would describe equilibrium their own way.

Peace, joy, contentment, rest, excitement, love, belonging, happy, comfy, sane, still, or moving. ...

A 7 pound angel's first sunset

Last night a good friend had a baby.

As much as I love people, I think I love little babies the most of all. It's like a miracle that never stops making me wonder. Every time I hold a brand new baby I feel like I'm holding an angel.

They have not had time to develop baggage, they haven't picked up any mean behaviors or judgements. They seem like a blank slate, but they seem to know something as well. It is amazing!

Toilet paper points at home

Posted 08-01-2009 at 08:11 AM by Sandra Bostwick (Walt's Wave)
Toilet paper points at home are just as special!

A while back, I started using a maid every other week at my house. A BIG part of the cost was offset as a write-off for my business which is almost half the house. Really, all these maids do is the heavy stuff like vacuming, scrubbing floors and bathrooms, and dusting.

Do you hire help for the inside of your house? If you do (or did) what do you think of the situation? Does having hired or family help around the house...

Toilet Paper Points

I just LOVE toilet paper points!

They are the little sign left behind by housekeeping helpers to say "I've been here!"

Toilet paper points are usually found when you come back to a hotel room after a long day of seeing sights. They let you know you are being taken care of.

Another great housekeeping gift is towel animals. Some can be quite artistic! I love towel animals when they greet me from a windowsill or sit nicely on a pillow.

Worth a thousand words!

Posted 07-30-2009 at 08:54 AM by Sandra Bostwick (Walt's Wave)
I have the view from my balcony at the Dove Creek Lodge in Key largo as my cell phone wall paper. On the cover is either sunset or sunrise (I can't remember which) When you flip it open, there is the full daylight view.

I was trying to describe the view to a friend when it occurred to me to show her! When she looked at the illuminated photo she got it.

The days of being without a camera at short notice are just about gone. The photos make telling our stories and telling...
