Beer of the Day - 11/14

Today's beer comes to us from Magic Hat Brewing Company in Burlington, VT and has a one-character title - 9.

A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers.

A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it. The secret ingredient (apricot essence) introduces a most unusual aroma which is balanced with residual sweetness.

4.6% ABV
English Ale yeast
Cascade and Columbus hops
Pale and Crystal malts

    Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the #9. I don't like the apricot taste. I do, however, Circus Boy!
