Weeding, Weeding, Weeding.

Posted 06-27-2009 at 09:58 PM by Sandra Bostwick
With all this rain, it seems like all I ever do is weed gardens. Can someone explain to me why weeds grow so easily?? You can't kill them! But if I plant something I WANT, I have to tuck it in at night, sing lullabyes, burp, and change it a couple times a day just to get it to grow a teeny but? Even then, the deer or the bunnies come in the night and eat it.

How to you keep your gardens weed free?

You don't want to see my flower gardens. The lady who owned this house before us had an absolutely beautiful yard, all the way around. We have let it get a little bit worse every year I'm afraid. It depends on my mood and the weather - usually when I'm in the mood it's too hot! My only suggestion is to use lots of mulch to choke out the weeks.

Well, it seems like if you take a week off, you are weeding for three!
