I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.

It is a pretty day here in Jersey.
I took my usual walk around with my coffee. The yard is still unbelievably overgrown with weeds in patches that I'd just cleared last year, but I do believe i made a teeny bit of progress in one small area. So I stood there and looked at that one small area with my coffee.
I can't believe it, but the deer chomped most of the lillies that I'd left last night.
I am not a big fan of tall fences, but next year I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and fence in my flowers.
How is your Sunday? Have you ever fenced in your nature to protect if from nature?

I would love to put up a fence to keep the neighborhood dogs out of our yard! Our city has a leash law but we have a few people who let their dogs loose as soon as the animal control officers go off duty.

Would you believe that fresh deer stands right in the front yard at night? I look out and see him, and even yell at him, but he just looks at me, like he is saying "aren't you the lady who fed me all the apples last fall?" SIGH!Posted 09-07-2009 at 09:28 PM by Sandra Bostwick
