(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)

This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.

I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.

I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

I suddenly have come down with a cold! It was like flipping a sneezing switch. I have plenty that needs to be addressed and can hardly focus for the sneezing.

What do you do when you have a cold and you still have a bunch of things on your list?

Totally random, but this is a live webcam inside a bear den. This bear is not worried about getting things done. She is just snoozing. P.S. There are cubs in there with her.

Illuminations 2000

Posted 01-11-2010 at 08:54 PM by Sandra Bostwick (Walt's Wave)
"Every day we're alive on the planet is special. Every morning brings a new opportunity, a chance to move forwards, to experience new things, to better ourselves, to grow together as people. In Reflections of Earth, not only are we looking back at our history and our planet, but we are reflecting on the things that we have done and how far we've come. And we have to contemplate the future, we haev to realize that we are responsible for making each day as bright and promising as we can."...

There had to be an emotional connection, something that guests could react to, something that touches them.

Entertainment Value

Posted 01-09-2010 at 09:12 PM by Sandra Bostwick (Walt's Wave)
Walt Disney pretty much dedicated his life to entertainment. To some, that might be trifling, but I've always thought that was a great mission.

Today was just another day that supported that belief.

Today I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 with Baby Karl's two brothers and sister and his Grandma. Before I go on about the entertainment value, let me tell you, it really does take two adults to take a four-year-old, a six-year-old and an eight-year-old to the movies....

Reframe and stay in the game!

I was thinking today about how some goals seem so hard to reach. Others get crossed off the list, but they are lacking something. Sometimes accomplishing the things on the To-Do list can seem like such a roundabout chore.

THEN, I took a closer look at this entry from Todd.
