(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going! Toilet paper points at home are just as special!
A while back, I started using a maid every other week at my house. A BIG part of the cost was offset as a write-off for my business which is almost half the house. Really, all these maids do is the heavy stuff like vacuming, scrubbing floors and bathrooms, and dusting. Do you hire help for the inside of your house? If you do (or did) what do you think of the situation? Does having hired or family help around the house...

I just LOVE toilet paper points!
They are the little sign left behind by housekeeping helpers to say "I've been here!"
Toilet paper points are usually found when you come back to a hotel room after a long day of seeing sights. They let you know you are being taken care of.
Another great housekeeping gift is towel animals. Some can be quite artistic! I love towel animals when they greet me from a windowsill or sit nicely on a pillow.

I have the view from my balcony at the Dove Creek Lodge in Key largo as my cell phone wall paper. On the cover is either sunset or sunrise (I can't remember which) When you flip it open, there is the full daylight view.
I was trying to describe the view to a friend when it occurred to me to show her! When she looked at the illuminated photo she got it.
The days of being without a camera at short notice are just about gone. The photos make telling our stories and telling...

Every trip I take, it seems, there is some special food that I love to have. Down the shore I usually make sure I have a slice of pizza and a soft ice cream cone or a piece of coconut-chocolate from this one special candy store. When I was in Key Largo I HAD to sample the Key Lime pie and I brought home some Key Lime coconut treats.
There is something about special foods that add to a trip, especially if it is a place that I go to often. I imagine there is no vacation spot that I've...

When I raved about the delicious coffee, Katey, the energetic woman who works at the Dove Creek Lodge, offered me a few bags to bring home.
The coffee, Seattle's Best brand, has a unique taste and smell. I brewed a pot this morning and, somehow, was whisked back in my memory to my little room with the marina view balcony before I even took a sip.
I noticed last night, as I applied moisturizer from a little bottle I'd saved from a different hotel stay, that my mind wandered...
