Sea World in one day???

We will have one day for Sea World in November, a Tuesday, open from 9am-6pm. DDs are interested in the thrill rides, DH is interested in staring at fish tanks. Shows are OK, but not a must (maybe Believe, but that's it). Is it doable and is it worth it? I'm choking a bit paying MORE than WDW prices

It is possible......especially if you leave out the shows, but I would strongly advise against that! You may think you're not interested but they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, I go every year and see the shows every time although they are usually the same! Honestly, SW ranks right up there with WDW in my books!!!!!!! And if you can squeeze an extra day in, SW always has the "2nd day free" promotion going on!!!!

Seaworld is the best park in Orlando IMHo. it is sooo worth it. The shows are first rate. There are only 3 rides - Kraken, a very wild roller coaster, Journey to Atlantis (think a very large Splash Mountain) and Wild Arctic, a simulator ride. You can do it in a day, if you plan it out. Best shows
Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island
Blue Horizons
Shamu
Odyssea
Pets Ahoy

Give it a try - you won't be sorry

We bought our tickets on the internet site and got adults for kids price plus 2nd day free. No way is that more than Disney for 2 days. Check it out! Bigred

We go a lot and never get tired of the shows. Please, make the shows a priority, you won't regret it. I would say don't miss....
1)Blue Horizons
2)Believe
3)Clyde and Seamore

In my book those are 3 must see activities. Wild arctic made us sick sick sick...lol. My son and husband love Kraken...A LOT! And I can take or leave water rides. Yes, you can do the highlights in a day. But we have been 6 or 7 times since April and keep discovering new things.
I love Sea World and feel it gets completely overlooked.
Look at the website as well for some dining opportunities that are fun and unique. We are doing the Xmas Luau this year on Xmas Eve. But there are other things as well. And some cool tours. If you want to do any of things, sign up ahead of time. They always seem to be sold out the day of.
Have fun......and go see the shows! LOL

I agree with this and also there are coupons out there. I know they are in the Entertainment book.

We usually do Seaworld on our WDW trips also. 1 day is doable, and the rides are OK; but not worth waiting for IMHO. The shows are wonderful, and our DD's love to see the Budweiser horses, particularly the babies, and then also watch them go thru the park hitched up.

Kraken & Journey into Atlantis are awesome rides... love them
Clyde & Seymour ROck...... They are a favorite. It is certainly doable in a day.

Clyde and Seamore have been on and off as of recent- the last two weekends we were there- there were no shows for them, but try to plan some time for it anyway.

The only other two I think are MUST DO's are Believe and Blue Horizons. It's doable to do the park in a day, but as is with Disney, it's good to have a basic plan of attack.

It totally can be done in one day. We did it last April with two kids 2 and 4. We also had on 78 yo. So you can see, we were not moving that fast on that day

We saw all the shows and went on most of the rides. I would absolutely try and see Believe first thing in the morning or early afternoon. We were going to save it for later, but were glad we didn't. The later shows were canceled that day. I heard some people talking that the same thing happened the day before.

I don't know why, but maybe the whales get tired and become uncooperative. just a thought. Anyway, this is one show worth seeing and I would hate for you to miss it with the the thought of waiting to see it at the end of the day.

Have Fun!!!
