| ICE Anybody else out there going to ICE at Gaylord Palms this year? We have tickets for Christmas Day. Anyone ever been before? Was it as "cool" as it looks? (Pardon the pun.) How long did it take to actually go thru it? We are going at 10AM and then doing the Christmas Brunch. Will they do the live stage show during the day on Christmas Day or is it always only in the evening? Any info would be appreciated. Bigred

| Hi We did ICE Christmas night this year, it was a lot of fun and amazing to see what they can do with ice. It was not very long to walk through, 20 min I would think, its smaller than you think but maybe its more crowded than Christmas night was. We walked all around the hotel after and truly enjoyed exploring after the night show was over (it was too loud to think anywhere near it). I seem to recall there was also an ice rink set up (very small) in a tent outside.

| ICE is indeed going on this year. Check it out: Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center : Dining & Things to Do : Ice is Coming to Gaylord Palms I would give it at least an hour. There are two short preshows and then the walk through. Most people I know rush through the sets, but I would take your time to admire the sculptures. Tips: - Bring warm gloves and wear warm pants! You get a parka, but gloves are not included with admission. - Buy tickets ahead of time online, or you'll be stuck in an hour long time just to buy them! Here's a video I did of ICE from a 2005 visit: YouTube - ICE! at Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida
