| Polar Express at Sea World! Photos/Review Added 12/01! Sea World's Wild Arctic pavillion has been transformed for the holiday season- "The Polar Express Experience" recently opened. Among the changes are holiday decor, including a large tree near the beluga whales exhibit, in addition to changes to the ride. ( These are temporary until the holiday season is over- at which time, the Wild Arctic theme will return.) Here is an article from the Sentinel on this cool new experience. We may go over in the morning to see it - if so, I will post pictures and a review! Hope lots of our holiday Passporter travelers can check it out! | We went over today and it was a lot of fun! Kevan and the kids actually rode the ride experience and everyone felt like they were really boarding- the loading area is a platform as it appeared in the movie. If you elect not to do the ride, you still see the clip shown in the simulator. The trees decorated throughout the exhibits were gorgeous. And the big tree from the Christmastown part of the movie is located at the top deck of the beluga whale exhibit. It was so beautiful, I felt it rivaled any of Disney's resort trees. An Old World Santa was greeting folks and taking pictures, all while the soundtrack from the CD and other holiday music was playing. My camera was slowly dying from lack of battery power so these are the shots that I managed to get to come out. If you plan to visit Sea World during the holiday season- it is a must do as far as I am concerned! We hope to go back at least once this month to see it again. If we do, I will have Kevan and the kids take the camera with them so they can take photos of the ride experience. If you have your own pictures, please post them in this thread so others can preview. Happy Holidays! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
