Question 1 day in area off a NCL Cruise!

Any ideas what attraction is closest to where the NCL ships doc?

We are traveling during presisent's Week (Feb 16th)

I'm traveling with my DH, & 2 DD's (3 yrs & 5 yrs).

I have Magic Kingdom on a hold with the ship for the day.... but should I consider something else? (We were just at WDW in Sept '07 and will be returning in Oct '08)

Sea world was also an option.

How far is Bush Gardens from where the NCL's dock? Anyone know???

Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on what port they are sailing to...

If they are sailing into Port Canaveral then I would suggest maybe Kennedy Space Center, which is in Cape Canaveral.

Sea World if you can get transportation to it from the ship in Orlando.

If your sailing into Tampa then I would go with Busch Gardens.

If your sailing into Miami then I would go with a Beach day as I think those attractions are between 3-6 hours away.

I hope you have a great time though! I love cruising!

We are sailing into Port Canaveral.

But I have small children. I don't think Cape Canaveral would hold their interest.

How small? When DD was 5 she loved Kennedy Space Center and the astronaut hall of fame had some hands on things that were fun. Personally, I'd do a beach day, though. Much as I love Disney, it's not worth taking the chance of missing the ship when it leaves. I'd be so worried about traffic and getting back in time that I wouldn't have any fun.

My kids are 3 & 5.

The Disney Trip is arranged through the cruise....so they wouldn't leave without us. I was just wondering what else was close that may be worth doing.

It is going to be February so... they beach is probably out. Plus we'll have plenty of beach time in the Bahamas!

Made a decision!

I think that we will go to Disney! I know it will be crowded because the kids are out of school.
I think it will be a bit chilly for the beach!!
My kids are a bit young for the whole Cape Canaviral thing!

So... MICKEY Here We Come!!!! Even though it will only be for a day

Hi ALL... It's been a while! I've been recovering from some surgery, but now I'm back!!

We'll be on our cruise Feb 16th and in Disney for the day on Feb. 18th! So I'll be planning away our day!

I know one day is a tease... but we'll be back in Oct for 6 days!!!
