Is BG Tampa okay for us wimps?

I was reading the thread about Busch Gardens in Tampa and everyone is talking about how great the coasters and thrill rides are.
I don't do coasters. They make me sick.
Is there anything there for people like me or should we skip it? I used to hate Cedar Point as a kid because I'd pay a bundle for my ticket and spend all day waiting for my friends to get off rides.

Busch Gardens

I am a wimp too but I love BG. There is plenty to do. The gardens are lovely and the animals fantastic. It will never replace Disney but you will find your day goes quickly even if you dont ride scary rides. The shows are pretty good and plentiful. Ride the train and there is a jeep safari ride that is wonderful. The photo below of me and my daughter is at BG. She wasnt feeling well that day and didnt want to do the coasters and I certainly wont, but we still had a blast. We stayed until closing and didnt see it all. I just hate the drive to Tampa! As a humorous note, we used to live in Tampa in the early 70s and my dad always took us to BG because at that time the brewery could still be toured and they gave out free samples. Some Saturdays he would say, Come on kids we are going to Busch Gardens!

We're wimps as well, but we love Busch Gardens. We go mainly for all the animals and you can pretty spend a day there seeing the animals and the shows, without going near any of the coasters.

Thanks! DH has a business meeting in Marco Island after Thanksgiving and one of the options we're toying with is flying in and out of Tampa instead of Ft Myers.

One of my dd's is a "wimp" & didn't go on the coasters with us, but she still found lots to do, there is also a couple of water rides similar to Splash Mtn. at MK & the raft ride at AK.
