Nickelodeon Hotel- Been There?

We're going to Orlando in August 2009. My children initially begged to visit the Nick Hotel and I couldn't pass up the chance to visit "The World' while in Orlando so its a 2fer!
We'll be at the Nick Hotel for 3 nights and Pop century 2 nights.

Anybody been to the Nick Hotel? Any recommendations? Room #'s? ETC...

We went in August with my Ds 8 and DD 4. They both loved the water parks and the daily activities were alot of fun... They also enjoyed the character breakfast, the Dora and Diego show at night and seeing the characters in the courtyard. Have fun.

We went a couple of years ago (aug 2005). My kids loved it. They enjoyed the large pool playgroud. They were also picked for some of the "show" stuff they do around the pool. Our family was also picked to participate that night in the game show where two families answer questions and a member from the winning family got to be slimed (seems like an odd prize but we won and my daughter loved it!) The rooms are pretty good too. For a couple of days you will enjoy it!

We're here right now. We moved here from the Wilderness Lodge for a few days because my DD begged. She loves the Nick Hotel! The extra bedroom is great and the pool area is a blast...Unfortunately it is very loud at night between the kids screaming and the background music or movies. One evening the music in the pool area did not shut off until 11:30pm. It was very hard to fall asleep that night. My best suggestion is to ask for a room that does not face the pool area. We saw a few shows at night...they were very fun.

Overall, it's been a good stay, but I missed the Disney feel.

I've always found the exterior of this hotel fascinating. I think we will definitely try it out once we have a grandchild to take there.
