| Aquatica - help me decide! (For some reason the body of my post never appeared...weird.  I'll try again.)In June we are doing a split stay - 4 nights at Marriott's Grande Vista and 4 nights at BWV. Part of our Marriott deal includes a $100 voucher toward tickets for Sea World, Aquatica, or WDW, IF we purchase them through Tickets By Marriott. I have found a better deal on WDW tickets through UCT, so I'm thinking about using the voucher to spend a day at Aquatica, in addition to 6 or 7 days at WDW. (We'll have to add about $20 to the voucher to go to Aquatica.) About us - we are 2 adults, and a 9 year old who loves water parks! So, should we do it? Has anyone been to Aquatica? Is it a full day park? How does it compare with the WDW water parks? Any and all information and opinions will be appreciated!

| Thanks for your input! There isn't much in the guide books about Aquatica. What did you love about it?

| We did Aquatica last year - it was great! It's bigger than the two WDW water parks - there are two wave pools, a lazy river and a tubeless rapid river, 4 tube slides, 1 headfirst mat slide, two family tube slides, an enormous splash area, and a few tubeless slides. You can easily spend a full day there.

| Aquatica is a great, family water park. Check out their website for additional photos and info. You can spend the day there.

| We went in Aug, thought my tickets would go to waste with Tropical storm Fay  but we managed to get 2 days in. We liked it, esp. the fast moving lazy river. But for wave pools liked TL better. Also liked the themeing of WDW water parks better. Aquatica is more open, less shade areas. Best deal is the all you can eat buffet at banana cabana. It's worth a visit to Aquatica. We also loved Seaworld.

| We have not been to Aquatica but it looked really neat on the Travel Channel show we saw on it. We love the themeing at the WDW water parks! Good luck with your decision!
