Cost of pics @ Discovery Cove

My husband and I are sneaking away one day on our trip to WDW to do to Discovery Cove. My question is how much were the pictures and video they sell of you with the dolphins? Trying to set up my budget and would love professional pics.

We went a few years ago and as I recallI spent a little over $100. It's not cheap but worth it as you cannot take your camera with you. There are a couple of options to choose from when putting together your DVD of the pictures. It includes pictures from Discovery Cove and then the ones you pick to add. There were also actual photos to purchase as well as videos. You might check their website of call in advance to see what they're currently offering. By purchasing the DVD you can then download then to your computer to use and share. It's a wonderful "park", enjoy your day there!

We went 2 years ago. They take pictures and video of your dolphin encounter. There are also photographers at other places as well. We have some real nice pix of us in the Sting-Ray tank. I got some sort of "package" that included the photo disc (with the copyright release) and the video. I am quite sure I paid almost $200. I could dig out the receipt, but I am pretty sure that's what I paid. (That's what I am planning to spend this year) I did get some 5X7 prints in the package, but the color was off and I reprinted them back at home. The CD was fine, there colors were off in printing.
All that said, I would ALWAYS buy the CD and the DVD. The look on our faces is amazing. The dolphin is so beautiful. These are memories I want and am paying a fortune to have.
Good Luck

Well, if it's as good as I've heard I guess it would be worth the money for the treasured memories! Thanks!

Great information. I purchases tickets for the dolphin encounter... however, I did not add on a picture package. Can I add it once we get there? I didn't realize that we could not take our cameras in. This is something that I really want to have captured!
