| Aquatica??? Will my 5 year old be ok in the rapids pool at Aquatica with a life jacket that is provided....do you go under with the jacket on? She can swim...but will panic if she gets dragged under. Please advise me. Also are there "pooh-sized" vests available? |

| Are you talking about the river rapids or the wave pool? There are many sized life jackets available. I used a life jacket for the fast moving river rapids, it was easier to float, and made it more fun IMO. I think it's a good idea for your daughter to wear a jacket for both the river rapids and wave pool. Don't think she will be dragged under. If you plan on being there all day, it's worth it to get the all day ticket to Banana Cabana buffet. First thing in the morning they have breakfast stuff, coffee, juice, muffins, fruit, etc then they change to burgers, hot dogs, etc. and you can get drinks all day long. Esp good in the Florida heat.

| I'm assuming you're referring to the wave pools. There are 2. One is a bit milder than the other. If my memory is correct, as you look at the 2, the milder one is to the right. Vests are available and will keep her afloat. There are also 2 lazy rivers. One you tube through, the other you walk through. The vest would be good there too. They are also allowed on slides. Visit their website for more specifics or give them a call. It's a nice waterpark.

| My girls wore their vests all day. There were many different sizes to choose from. They had a blast!

| I think you are referring to Roa's Rapids it is a fast moving Lazy river guests and whisked through encountering speed bursts and waves throughout. First your DD should not go under with the life jacket but the rapids have some pretty strong current so I would advise you to ensure she is comfortabe before attempting I have swallowed water and been tripped up in the rapids and it could be upsetting to a young child. Also there are definitely Pooh sized jackets I am pooh sized myself about a women 18-20 and I will usually us the Adult XL vest which is dark blue they also have an XXL which is green and I believe a xxxl but I don't know the color. Hope that helps!

| In June we went to Aquatica for the first time, and then went to both Disney water parks (also for the first time.) We really enjoyed Aquatica, and thought it was clean and fun. Our favorite was the fast moving not-so-lazy river, but the slides were terrific too. We couldn't imagine that Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach could be any better. Then we went to TL and BB, and loved those even more than Aquatica! When we let our son select our park for the last day of our trip, he chose to return to TL, his favorite of all the Disney parks. Disney is all about the theme and the magic, and TL and BB are as magical and well themed as the big 4. So over all, I would say that Aquatica is great, but TL and BB are amazing.

| I would agree with above poster. Aquatica is fun, and the fast lazy river is great! But the beautiful theming at the WDW water parks is just amazing.

| Aquatica is a very nice water park. They really made sure that everyone would feel comfortable on/in all attractions. There's no real "thrills". I think that makes it a bit differnet for the Disney water parks and the others in the area. It's got a nice "feel" to it and is very clean. I think you'll enjoy it.
