I'm asking this because when I go to the Sea World website, this is listed as a resident pass. I've looked at so many different screens for it but I could have sworn I saw one that said proof of residency required. However, when I go to AAA - and put in my number, which tells them basically where I live, the Fun Card comes up as an option for me (at the same price as SeaWorld) but there is nothing about proof of residency. Does anyone know about this and if I do buy it from AAA, would we be denied access/use of the ticket because we're not residents of Florida?

FWIW - the reason why I would like to get this ticket is Abby enjoyed Sea World so much she wanted to do 2 days next time we go and I have yet to see the offer from before which was buy one day, get a second day free.

Thanks for any help/advice.

ETA - I found where I read about proof of residency - it said it at Mousesavers but yet there is no mention at all on Sea Worlds website about needing proof of residency - just Photo ID required for the tickets.

I think I'd give Sea World a call to be sure. Or maybe try Undercover Tourist. I think they sell tickets to Sea World. AAA may be happy to sell you the tickets, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll actually get the fun pass. You could always check with your local AAA office to see what they say about it.

I'm guessing it's a special deal they make available to AAA members. I logged onto my AAA site and I can get a Funcard too here in MN but it says it's an online only deal. Which means a real person at SW isn't likely to know much about it.

But you might want to call SeaWorld anyway. Every time we've been we've been able to go to a window on our way out and get our tickets validated for a second day free within 14 days. It usually involves adding a photo so they can't be transferred but we've always had the option to go back. It might have been a limited time offer (and from a quick Google search it looks like it was) but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
