Hello! We're planning our trip to DL for July and are going to Legoland as well.
It's south of DL less than an hour away just north of San Diego. I don't think
there is a bus to Legoland from DL. We're renting a car since we fly into San
Diego and are staying near Legoland on the beach in Carlsbad.
According to the Tickets and Passes page on the Legoland Florida website, there is a shuttle that leaves from Orlando Premium Outlets at 9 am, returns at park closing, and costs $5. You would still need to get to the outlet mall, but that could be a cab ride.
If you wouldn't want to stay all day, though, renting a car for the day may be the only option.
I've been wondering the same thing. there's gotta be a shuttle service from one of the downtown Disney hotels, wouldn't there be? we absolutely have to get to LEGOLAND next trip!!

We go in the summer so we doubt we would want to stay all day there, I think you are right that the rental would be the only other option. We take the magical express to Disney so we have never rented a car, not sure what we are going to do
