Here's a sample to give you an idea of what to post: Destination: Date: (when you'll be there, arrival to departure) Adventurers: (who's going with you, their ages, and their experience) Resort/Hotel: (where you are staying) Celebration: (why you are going, even if just for R&R) Meetings: (places you'll be at if others want to join you, plus ways fellow travelers can spot you, such as wearing a PassPorter Pin, etc.) Feel free to post even if your plans aren't firm -- you're always welcome to return and update us when you've made more plans! | Re: Adventuring in October 2007 Destination: Things have changed a little since I first posted this, so I am editing to update.  Dates: Friday, October 5, 2007 - Sunday, October 14, 2007 Adventurers: Me, 37 (  ) and DD, 15 yoResort/Hotel: POP (1 night), POR (3 nights) and CBR (3 nights) -this is our first time ever staying onsite, and we are soooo excited! Celebration: family vacation-- my DD got to go to Europe last year, so this time she gets to do something fun with Mom!  Our first day, we will arrive at MCO and rent a car. We will travel to KSC and spend the day. Friday night we will drive back to Orlando, and crash at POP. Saturday morning, we will dine in the castle with the princesses!! After a magical week at WDW, we plan to drive to Sanibel Island, for a relaxing weekend of shelling and dolphin-watching before it is time to head home!  We can't wait! My wife and I are flying to Tampa, Florida I have a friend there who is gonna show us the city (And Busch Gardens) on Monday the first we drive to Orlando! We have six nights at a moderate motel--Disney! We are trying to get POR! I have never been to WDW and am very excited! Then one park a day more or less. maybe two at Epcot and MGM Disneyland we have in California!! Sunday the 7th we return to San Francisco. I hope I go the dates right. Sorry if I did not follow your form exactly. Its been a hard long day at work!!! scottjs  |

| Re: Adventuring in October 2007 Hello Everyone... I just love this site... I have spent hours reading all of the postings and taking in some great info from everyone! Our trip is planned for October 19th - 27th... We are going with some good friends of ours. It has been great planning the trip with someone else! We plan on going to MK, AK, Epcot, Universal, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove. We took a family vacation in 2/05 with my in-laws and had a wonderful time. The only sad part of the trip (besides leaving) was I lost my memory stick to my camera and lost all of my photos. This trip was especially unique because this was my daughter's first Disney experience. And I know that all of you know how SPECIAL this is!! I cried for days and made many phone calls and prayed!!! Well, I have finally came to terms that I am never going to get it back but when I mentioned that I wanted to take another Disney vacation with our friends,(like 2 months later) my husband didn't put up a fight!! | Re: Adventuring in October 2007 Hello Fellow Walt Disney World Fans!!! Trip just booked for Oct. 20-Oct. 28. DH-Age 39, has been to WDW 4 times-last 2004. DS-Age 9, 1st time was in 2004. DS-Age 7, 1st time was in 2004. DB-in-law-Age 47, has been to WDW 2 times-last 1980!!!! Me-Age 37, has been to WDW at least 10 times-last 2004. Staying at Port Orleans-Riverside for the first time. Our children have Wisconsin Teacher's Convention the week we are going so boys only have to miss 3 days of school. Have been to WDW twice before in October and can't beat the great weather or smaller crowds. Can't wait!! A little over 9 months and counting!!! Any one else going this same week???? (Go Pack Go!) |
