Hooray!!! I've been waiting for this one to show up!! and now I'm the first one to respond. Yay!!
February 15 to February 24, 2008
AuntRead, Aunt Pattie (both of us a couple of cool old gals)
Nephew Shamus age 9
staying at All Star Sports (the boy's choice)

Aunt read and Aunt Pattie take each niece or nephew to WDW for their 1st solo trip the year thay turn 10. They get to choose the resort, and one character meal. (we get to make the rest of the plans)
Our brother and our younger sister have been nice enough to provide us with a total of 8 nieces & nephews. Shamus is number 7, so we only have one more to go after him .but we will still do the family trips
We will be doing the Hoop de Doo revue. He wanted this instead of a character meal.

we are looking forward to this trip very much!

Date: Friday, February 15 - Saturday, February 23, 2008
Adventurers: Me, Jeffrey (DH) and Kyle (DS15)
Resort/Hotel: Dolphin's Cove Resort (Using my aunt's timeshare for FREE!! )
Celebration: February school vacation week. This will be Jeffrey & Kyle's first time visiting California!

Date: February 14-17
Adventurers: Me (34), DH Kevan (38), DS Kevin (13), DD Katie (11), DS Matthew (9) and Emily (6)
Resort/Hotel: Category 5 stateroom and a Category 11 across the hall
Celebration: Fun on Valentine's and DH, kids first trip on DCL!!
Meetings: Definitely up for some, just pm me!

Date: February 11-15, 2008
Adventurers: Me (Dawn), age 36 at time of trip & my DM Lynn, age 62 at time of trip
Resort/Hotel: Wilderness Lodge
Celebration: Another Mother/Daughter Extravaganza (rescheduled after Oct 2007 trip fell through)
Meetings: Will have my PP pin on. Please PM if you want to meet up.

Resort/Hotel: City Garden Hotel, Hong Kong
Celebration: visiting a vibrant place, another Disney park and enjoying a cheap holiday, thanks to our grocery vouchers!

Destination: Disney Magic/WDW
Date: On the Magic, Feb. 2-9, and at WDW Feb. 9-11
Adventurers: Myself, 40, and DS, 11
Resort/Hotel: Pop Century for the WDW part
Celebration: DS's 12th birthday
Meetings: I'll have my PP pin on for sure! And feel free to PM me if you're going to be on the Magic or at Pop at the same time!!

We haven't been able to sail on the Magic since 2004, so DS and I are waaaaaayyyy past excited about this trip. Plus, DS doesn't even know that after the cruise, instead of flying back home all depressed, we're spending two nights at Pop and two days at Epcot!! I can't wait to see the look on his face.

Resort: Beach Club Villas (waitlisted for a savannah view studio at AKL Villas )
Celebration: some much needed Mama and big sister bonding time

We would REALLY like to hook up with some others and arrange a Grand Gathering Magical Fireworks Cruise (the one with Peter Pan). I tried to get something going in September, but had no takers. Please PM me if you are interested!!

We can't wait to get to the Happiest Place on Earth! Grew up with DL, this will be something to remember I am sure. Have reservations at mulitple restraunts for character dining...which ones are really worth going to?

Experience: Veterans (20+ for me; 15+ for DH; 8 for DD)
Celebration: Leaving New Orleans during Mardi Gras for our own fun! Also, celebrating belated birthdays for DD and Me (1/6 and 1/18 respectively) and a belated anniversary for DH and Me (1/15)
Meetings: Nothing official, but if you see people who are wearing Saints or Mardi Gras garb, it might be us!
