Adventurers: Me (36) I think this is my 19th visit. Nell (30 something) This will be her first trip to Disney World.
Resort/Hotel: All Star Movies
Celebration: No celebration just Nell wanting to see Disney World

When: May 5th - May 9th

Who: Just lil ole me!!

Resort: Beach Club

Why: Treating myself to a single mom break and celebrating National Nurses week with a fellow RN (Grandmasam)

ETA 4/13: As Sharon and I have dubbed this a "nurses conference" so our respective left-behind family members don't feel left out, it's ironic that I just discovered last night our arrival day kicks off Nurses' Week!!

MEETS: Sharing a room with Grandmasam (Sharon); hoping to see WDWFan (Lesley) & DrDolphin (Terri) on the 8th. Also hoping to run into some of the other Passporters that'll be there during the same time. If you see me say hello-I'll have my Passporter Passholder around my neck. Sharon and I will be taking the Keys To The Kingdom tour on the 8th @ 8:30AM; we are also going to the Tea at the Grand on Tuesday.

ETA 1/22: I'm definitely going <Lord Willing>-received an e-mail this AM from AirTran for awesome airfare-after applying my credit I only had to pay tax! YAY!

Destination: Branson, Missouri
Date: May 25 - 30
Adventurers: Me (Christie), 37, son (Joshua), 6, our 7th trip overall and 2nd trip "just us"
Resort/Hotel: Falls Village (Bluegreen Vacation Club)
Celebration: because we still have points in our vacation club account, and because I want to keep up the tradition of going to Branson every 6 months, also just to have a relaxing getaway before our crazy pull-out-all-the-stops WDW trip rolls around in July
Meetings: I just made the reservations, and don't have any plans yet. Since our money is going toward WDW, not many activities away from the resort. But if you'll be there, PM me and we'll see what we can work out.

Resort/Hotel: Pop Century as usual
Celebration: No celebration, it's been 2 years since our last visit and we all are homesick (especially me!!) While there we will be celebrating Jez's birthday and their wedding anniversary.
Meetings: Nothing planned at the moment.

Our plans have now completely changed due to an incompetent airline so unfortunately our holiday plans are no longer New York, WDW and Sanibel , here are the details for our new holiday instead:

Destination:Kenya 5 nights on Safari, we will be visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East, Tsavo West, then 6 nights in Mombasa followed by 1 night in Nairobi.
Date: 17th-31st May
Adventurers: Me, Karen 33, DH Allan 36 and our friend Kyule who will be our Safari guide
Resort/Hotel: Safari lodges and tented camps whilst on Safari, 6 nights at Severin Sea Lodge in Mombasa and 1 night at the Holiday Inn Nairobi.
Celebration: Our second wedding anniversary
Meetings: Sure, if any of you will be in Kenya .

Resort/Hotel: upgraded to Wilderness Lodge on 2-21-08
Celebration: no celebration, just a much needed get away!
Meetings: none planned, but we're up for meeting fellow PassPorters in WDW!

Destination: Paris, London, and Brussels
When: May 10 +/- to May 27
Who: Me, 41 - been to Paris and London once before - a whole classroom full of younger classmates - most never even been out of Indiana, 2 profs - one is a friend also, and she and her DH maintain an apartment in Paris
Hotels: Will be staying at a student center called the Fiap (?) in Paris, International Student House in London
Celebrations: I'll be arriving home the day before Kathryn's b-day (hopefully)
Meetings: I'd love to meet with any Passporters while I'm there. I'll have a few days off (study trip - required stuff lots of the time) in each city, don't know which days yet.

Why: My son's 4th B-day and because we haven't been to disney since 2003.


I don't know who is more excited me or the kids. We watch the planning video from disney over and over. I also have stuff about disney on my DVR that we watch.
My DH thinks Iam crazy with all the planning, but with the dinning plan you have to plan ahead I keep telling him. (Its really funny because he normally plans everything, but for some reason he thinks we don't have to plan for disney.) I am sure once we are in disney he will appreciate all my hard work.

Why: Celebrating our first trip as DVC members and DS's upcoming 10th birthday!

Destination: WDW
Date: 5/5 to 5/9
Adventurers: ME - aka "Grandmasam", real name Sharon
Resort/Hotel: Until today it was Contemporary, now it's Beach Club
Celebration: Because another PPer said "It'd be really great if you could join me!" - to which I said "Well, I had planned on taking the week off, cleaning the house, turning over the garden, planting about a jillion plants, and all that stuff, but I'll make the sacrifice and travel south to The World instead!"
Meetings: 5/6 - Tea at 2 p.m.; 5/7 - KTTK at 8:30, Concourse at 6 p.m.; 5/9 - HBD at DHS at 11:30 - cannot do WDW without the ORIGINAL Cobb Salad! Will probably to the Fort Wilderness Segway tour on 5/6 a.m., but haven't gotten the ressie yet.

Meetings: Not sure yet, but if anyone is going to the Animal Care Expo and wants some help planning, let me know!
