Hello travellers! If you are planning a trip anywhere in August 2008, share your dates and plans with us! Here's a sample to give you an idea of what to post:

Date: August 11th thru August 23rd
Adventurers: Me (will be 42 then), DH (will be 51 then), DS (will be turning 9 during trip), 7th trip for us all
Resort/Hotel: Our DVC Home - Saratoga Springs
Celebration: Summer vacation, DS birthday
Meetings: Love to meet other Passporters, will update this post as I make plans for any "special" outings / meetings!!!

Destination: Walt Disney World
Date: Aug 23-30
Adventurers: Me, Denise - 9th trip to WDW
DH, Jason - 7th trip to WDW
DD, Ariana (5yo) - First Trip!
DS, Phoenix (2yo) - First Trip!
Resort/Hotel: All Star Movies, Requesting Toy Story building
Celebration: The kid's first trip to the magic, our first family trip, and our 10 year anniversary!
Meetings: Always up for a PP meet! I'll have my PP pin and my PP pouch on me.

Destination: Walt Disney World
Date: We've firmed up plans due to the great PIN rate we received Arriving the 14th (late afternoon), leaving Saturday the 23rd (late).
Adventurers: Me, Marnie (will be 39), 14th trip, DH Matt (will be 41), 8th trip with me, DD Alexa (will be 9), 7th trip, DS Colin (will be 6), 7th trip
Resort/Hotel: We're staying at POFQ for 5 nights and then BC for 4 nights. Couldn't pass up that rate
Celebration: Just back to Disney since we missed 2007
Meetings: Always up for meets and greets Have my PassPorter pouch (DD has one too) and my nametag

Destination: Disneyland AND Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise

Date: 15 August - 1 September!

Adventurers: Me (NanaTink), and DH (Sulley)

Resort/Hotel: Grand Californian and Disney Magic, Stateroom 7566

Celebration: Celebrating 30 years of marriage to my best friend

Meetings: Goofy's Breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel on the morning we sail with about 15 or so Passporters arranged by our very own Off-Kilter Lynn! Otherwise, on the ship you can usually find us at the Quiet Cove during the day or at Sessions before the second dinner seating! Come say hi!

Resort/Hotel: Polynesian Concierge Lagoon View, Beach Club Villas 1 BR
Celebration: Last family trip before Andrew leaves for College
Meetings: Up for any meet! Hoping Dear Friend Linda (MickeyMAC) and her dtr. Rebekah can meet me for tea!!! . I will be wearing my Passporter pin and DH will have the Passporter pouch! You should recognise the boys from my sig pic!!

Celebration: Labor Day weekend getaway!

Destination: Walt Disney World
Date: August 30th - September 13th 08
Adventurers: Me 27, my 3 years old daughter, my friends Charline 31, Guerline 32 and her daughter, Marleena 7. Technically, it will be my 3rd time on Disney sites but second time actually visiting the parks. We were all at the CR two weeks ago to make sure we got the bounce back offer So as for my friends it will be their 2nd time visiting Disney but 1st timers in Disney parks as well as for my daugther. Resort/Hotel: POR and we might add a 1 night stay at the Polynesian resort
Celebration: To share the "magic" with my daugther and those who are dear to me
Meetings: Wow! I haven't got into that yet when I get back from Austria I'll plan that Ways fellow travelers might spot me, is all have Pin of all the forum discussion I'm suscribed too lol

Resort/Hotel: Nick Hotel (8/16-8/19), BWV (8/19-8/29)
Celebration: 2 Fun-filled weeks in our favorite place and celebrating Nicholas' 9th birthday!
Meetings: We're always up for meeting our Passporter Friends.

DGM - My mother - 7 or 8 previous WDW trips

DS - My Sister - 5 or 6 previous WDW trips
DBIL - I know of 1 previous WDW trip....
DNJ - My niece - 4 previous WDW trips
DNK - My nephew - 1 previous WDW trip

Celebration: First time we've all be to WDW together!

I don't thnk they've determined if/when free dining will be held next summer, other than the bounce-back offer from stays this past September. Keep your eyes on the WDW Rumors Forum and I'll bet as soon as anything is announced, you'll see it there! Have fun planning your trip!

Resort/Hotel: Animal Kingdom Lodge
Celebration: Summer vacation - Joey's first trip to Disney World
Meetings: All over!

My daughter and I have been to Disney World 10 times but this is my grandson's first trip. We haven't been there in 10 years and I can't wait to see all the new attractions. We went every summer as a tradition starting when my daughter was 8 and now the tradition startes with Joey.

DH (44) went only one day a lonnnnnnnnnnng time ago
DD (4) first timer
DS (2) first timer
DGM (my mom) 5th time
DGD (my dad) 6th time (he went before knowing my mom, when it was only MK)
DS (21) 5th time
Maybe DSBF first timer as well!!
And last but not least, DGM's dog Muscade 1st timer
Resort: Fort Wilderness Campground
Celebrations: First time for my kids and summer vacations and the love of princess for my DD
Meeting: Big french family with adults that are as excited as the kids

Resort/Hotel: We are staying at All Star Music
Celebration: We are going just because we love WDW so much and haven't been there since July 2006
Meetings: I am certainly up to any meets and I will be wearing my PP pouch.
