Celebration: Kinda my birthday but really it's just an excuse to go to MNSSHP again this year!
Meetings: Hoping to meet some fellow Passporters and like chezp posted in another thread - maybe catch the MNSSHP parade with some like minded party folks!

Resort/Hotel: Animal Kingdom Lodge -- our first Deluxe stay (thank you pin code and AP discount!)
Celebration: Meeting up with friends at the MouseGuest Experience (The Mouse Guest Experience - Oct. 25-30, 2008) Joey's first time to lead a meet, Food and Wine, and I "may" run the ToT 13K
Meetings: we'll be at most of the Mouseguest meets - (list available at link above) for Joey to meet his "fans", and would be happy to meet up with Passporters during the trip as well!

Destination: Disneyland and California Adventure
Date: October 17 - 26
Adventurers: DH - William - 30, Myself - 30, DD Gwen - 8 yrs, DS Gavin - will be 2 yrs at trip time (sniffle...)
Resort/Hotel: Not sure, but hoping to be as close to Maingate as possible so DD and I can sneak over while dad and the baby nap
Celebration: Gavin's 2nd Birthday (October 13) AND his first trip to Disney!!
Meetings: None, so far.

Celebration: Halloween- we can't wait for MNSSHP

Destination: Kona Coast, Hawaii
Date: October 18 - 25
Adventurers: Me (37 by then) - visited Maui at age 14; DH (36), DD (8), DS (4) all never been; Mom and Dad - visit annually in their timeshare.
Resort/Hotel: I don't know the name of the timeshare...
Celebration: No reason other than a nice place to visit while the opportunity is there.
Meetings: We'll hit a luau and visit the volcano (currently erupting), visit a plantation of some sort and take a flume ride (yeah, my parents and in-laws did it 2 years ago, but I have no idea what to expect).

New York is October 16 - 17
WDW is October 17 - 24
Chicago is October 24 - 26
Disneyland is October 26 - 29
Las Vegas is October 29 - 31 (fly home that night, arriving back the next day)

Did you know that Halloween is a holiday in Vegas? We were admitted to the Union on October 31 and "Nevada Day" is a holiday. They've recently changed it so that we "observe" the holiday on the last Friday of the month (growing up I always had Halloween off from school), but this year, the last Friday actually is October 31!

Our October Adventure!

Destination: WDW, Seaworld, NASA, and a beach TBD
Dates: October 18 - 25
Adventurers: myself, my DH, and our two DD's 9 and 6
Resort/Hotel: neither- family member has a vacation home and gave us a Magical deal!
Celebration: First WDW trip for us all! Decided to Just Do It!
Meetings: BBB Monday morning for two surprise Crown treatments , CRT for dinner Monday, Akershus Tuesday for breakfast, Disney's Pirate Adventure (Grand Floridian) Thursday, Chef Mickey's Thursday for dinner. No official vacation outfits have been selected yet, but I usually have the girls in either matching outfits, or the same colored outfits. They will each have a Tink lanyard with a few pins.

Celebration:Our 25th anniversary...we are going to MNNSHP on Hallowee.

ADVENTURERS: DH(Jason), DS (Alex- 10yrs), DD (Julia -5 yrs), Myself (forever young)
RESORT: Boardwalk Inn (revisited)
CELEBRATION: Halloween Disney Style, & just because we can!
MEETINGS: A limo is picking us up at airport and we will be arriving to a room with a water view and gifts from "Mickey & Minnie" (not to mention a very nice bottle of champagne for DH & me!). Princess Tea Party (just girls), parasailing (just boys), La Nouba, Disney Quest, MNSSHP (31st), Food & Wine Festival (Parent's nite out), Cindy's for dinner (finally!), Richard Petty's Driving Experience (King for a Day for DH) (shhhh....it's a surprise!) On top of all this and the usual evening dinners during fireworks, days in the park, character dining,and pure chaos, we will enjoy a relaxing day of lounging by the pool (best laid plans, I know!! ).

The past two trips DH and I kick ourselves for not spending one evening w/o the kids, so we are looking forward to treating ourselves to one night of big people time! This night will be our second to last before heading home and that is when I plan to surprise DH with the RPDE! It is the least I can do for all the patience he has shown me with all my planning and obsessive nature towards Disney World!! Hey, gotta do it while we can!

Celebration: Our 10th wedding anniversary & DSis's birthday
Meetings: Would love to meet up with some PP's. (I think my DSis has been working on some for us) MNSSHP on the 21st would be a great meeting event!

Celebration: DS6 will be turning 7 the week before we go. He asked if we could go to celebrate his birthday in WDW instead of the party this year. He's been to WDW many times but this will be his first plane ride.
Meetings: We'll be at MNSSHP on the 19th and we're going to snack/drink our way around the world on the 17th.
