| Can't help myself I must countdown with others. 50 Days!! The girls I work with just don't understand. Actually I am driving them nuts. Went out and bought Disney Christmas scrubs. Makes me worse to deal with when I get e-mails from YC planners. I received one today! They made my California Grill ADR for Fri. Jan 18! I love Club Level so far. (first time in hotel). I quess I will babble on and give a mini-pre-trip report. Travelers: Me (Charleen) & DH - sending DS14 to my sister in Wisconson, DS17 to Grandparents in Ohio. Poor kids, do your homework or your parents won't take you to WDW. Reason to Go - Hmmm, Lots - Hubby grew up in Vero Beach went lots as a kid. But I'm the Princess freak. Moved from Florida 3.5 years ago and miss WDW lots. Need a break from reality of our very stressful life this past year. Planning only started about - 25 days ago. Originally kids were going to go with us until report cards and attitudes came out. Resort - Ressie origanially for WL Club level, but coworker said check with travel office on base to see what price we could get. They beat Disney's quote by $400 and it was for YC! No brainer in my book. I was very surprised. Airline - Longest and most stressful planning of all. We had for comp. tickets from Airtran. They were given in March of this year from very inconvienent layover in WPB, FL. First phone call to claim 3 of the 4 RT flights. Computer said we had no comp tickets. I had certificate in hand, had to fax to them. Next day called to book flights. Can't book - can only do 60 days out. Called back 60 days, not yet, must be 60d of return flight. On to Daily Plan: Thurs: Let the "Rat Race" Begin Up at 4am. Leave for BWI at 4:45. Arrive BWI 5:30. Check-in DS17 (he leaves at 7am.) DS14 leaves at 8:30. We leave at 8:56. Pray for no snow delays. Arrive YC around 1pm - Check-in Lunch - Beaches & Cream Park - ? Dinner - Yachtsman ADR Evening Plan - Dueling pianos, tour Boardwalk, bed before midnight Friday - NO Alarm clock! Magic Kingdom Do whatever (love that plan) ADR - California Grill 6pm Fireworks 8pm Saturday - again No Alarm clock Epcot Lunch - San Angel - DH favorite - Dinner - Rose & Crown ADR - 7:45 - DH wants to try to catch Illuminations from here. (not sure I'll like the food.) Sunday - Animal Kingdom Lunch - Flame Tree BBQ - Love the ribs - This has not always been our fave park so going over to MGM after lunch Dinner - Mama Melroses - DH likes - not to miss Rock roller coaster & Tower of terror, but then may just cruise around then go to Pleasure Island. Monday Downtown Disney Shopping Disney Quest Lunch - Planet Hollywood or something else/not sure yet Depart - DME at 3pm We arrive BWI 8:20pm, DS17 arrives 10:14pm, DS14 @ 10:15pm. Probably won't get home until Midnight. Tuesday - Up at 5:15am for work Wow! Just typing that made me sleepy. I feel much better being able to share with people who understand. Everyone here thinks I'm a nut. ![]() |
