THE PLANS KEEP EVOLVING!!
Destination: Walt Disney World!
Date: Originally - December 2-5 NOW We need to ADD a day probably at the end
Adventurers: Me and My Mom! This Stays the same
Resort/Hotel: Animal Kingdom Villa Standard view Studio Not Sure where we will end up sleeping for our added night - awaiting AP rates hoping for good deal!
Celebration: Nothing Specific, Going for MVMCP
Meetings: Getting together with my mom's hs friend for lunch/dinner one day. Otherwise we are just enjoying a relaxed mini vacation. Nothing changed here!! But I did plan a few SURPRISES for my mom!! Rose n Crown for Dinner, Behind the Seeds Tour and (hopefully, I didn't get the dinner package) We will be doing the candlelight processional - she doesn't know anything about it, but I know she will LOVE it!!

My BIG MAYBE has turned into an almost completely planned trip! I have my ADRs!! Tea at the Grand Floridian on Arrival Day !
Lunch 50’s Prime Time and Dinner at Hollywood and Vine on one day
Tusker House for breakfast one morning, and the Rose n Crown mentioned above. We are eating mostly counter service but I wanted to surprise my Mom with a couple of TS meals as well!
Now I JUST NEED GOOD AIRFARE TO COME ALONG!! COME ON DING!

Sounds like you've got a great plan going! I would love to take a trip with my Mom...may have to start thinking about that.

Celebration: Christmas VACAY
Meetings: We're planning on checking out the mousefest activities for the first time.
We're looking at: EP, MK, MK (MVMCP!), AK,EP,EP, DHS, MK. We thought we were all set, but we might adjust things so we can go back to the MK before going home.

Some highlights: Chef Mickeys (B&D), Akershus CB, LTT CD, CP CB. The Spirit of Aloha Dinner show, Fantasmic Dinner Package and the Candlelight processional.

Adventurers: Me 38, DH 38, DS 9, DS 7, DD 2 1/2 (1st trip was July 4th '07 - steamy & crowded!)
Resort/Hotel: We're getting a big discount, so we are leaning toward Deluxe-per recommendations probably BD or WL...still deciding
Celebration: Low crowds, cool weather and holiday decorations - does it get more perfect? Also DH & DS bdays are in December
Meetings: no idea yet!

We will be there the same time staying at the Poly.
From what I have read on another thread is that the deluxes are selling out and I checked at the Poly for the same week for a family member and nothing was available, so I hope you get into one of the deluxes of your choice

Destination: Walt Disney World!!

Date: Still tentative - hoping for December 12-17th, may be the 13th or 14th for arrival and the 18th for departure, depending on Jennie's performance schedule.

Adventurers: Me, DH John, and Sarah (12) - all with plenty of Disney experience.

Resort/Hotel: Pop Century - at least for now - it's inexpensive, but still fun!

Celebration: Watch Jennie perform in the Candlelight Processional!!!! oh yeah - and I'm hoping to participate where possible in a little thing called Mousefest! Sarah and I were able to attend Mousefest 2005, and we had a blast - met lots of fun people. Since I'm a teacher, it isn't a good time to be out of the classroom - but family comes first - so thank you Jennie!!! Love Disney at the holidays!

Meetings: None set yet - hoping to be down in time to participate in Saturday's Mousefest activities - MegaMouse meet, Lagoon dinner meet, and the ornament exchange. Once I have my plane tickets purchased, and the Candlelight schedule is firm- I'll post more plans. I'll have on my PassPorter pouch and pin for sure, John usually wears a pin lanyard with a PassPorter pin (depends on his mood), and who knows with Sarah. She's a pre-teen with LOTS of attitude - some days she LOVES PassPorter and Disney, the next - they are both so uncool!


Jennie's Plans:

Dates: Dec 14-18th
Resort: All Star Sports
Adventurers: Keene State College Concert Choir - including her friend and roommate from home, Alicia.
Celebration: Invited to participate in the Candlelight Processional
Jennie hasn't been to Disney since September of 2005, but she had been several times prior. We've gone to Disney once as a family for the December festivities, and her favorite thing was the Candlelight Processional. She is not big on thrill rides, but is willing to try most things - and LOVES music, dance and theater.

I thought I had already put our plans here but I guess I didn't! Here goes...

Destination: WDW!!!
Dates: December 22 to January 2 but we will leave home on December 20 because we drive!
Adventurers: Me (Jenny) 41, DH Sean 43, DD Caitie 16, & DS Ben who will turn 13 while we are there! This is the 4th trip to WDW for all of us and our 3rd trip during Christmas because we love to be in WDW for Christmas!
Resort: POP Century
Celebration: Christmas and Ben's 13th birthday and the New Year!
Meetings: None planned We are open though! We will (also) have on lots of Red Sox or Patriots...gotta support the home teams! Also, probably a big Disney bag...much to my husband's dismay...because I need to have my stuff with me!
Plans: We want to make it until midnight on New Year's Eve at one of the parks...probably Epcot...this time! We have tried before but always end up back at our room watching fireworks from outside our door! We are planning a rest day on Dec. 30 to achieve this goal!
