When it came time to plan next years spring break, kids said they wanted to try someplace new. We are trying to cut costs so decided to try another RCI exchange for spring break. Our last was to Nuevo Vallarata and was excellent. Spring break will end on Easter Sunday so I'm hoping it won't be too crazy.

Destination: Las Vegas, Nevada
Dates: April 4 - April 11
Adventurers: Family of 4: Me (40) DH (41) DD (15) and DS(13) Ages at time of trip
Condo has room for 2 more (Lisa if you see this)
Resort: Cliffs at Peace Canyon
Celebrations: I'm sure I'll try to fit in some 41st birthday fun even though my actual b-day is the 13th.
Meetings: We are still in early planning stages. I really want to see Mama Mia! but I'm not getting a lot of support. DS wants to see Spamalot again. We will definitely see a Cirque show and will spend at least 1 day at the Grand Canyon.

Destination: Japan - Tokyo (including visits to Hakone and Mount Fuji and Nikko), Kyoto (including a visit to Nara), Hiroshima and Tokyo Disney.
Date: Sunday 29 March - Saturday 11 April
Adventurers: Me, Cheryl (36 by then!) and DH Mark (43)
Resort/Hotel: Grand Prince Hotel, Akasaka, Tokyo, followed by Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Kyoto, New Hiroden Hotel, Hiroshima and the Sheraton and MiraCosta, Tokyo Disney
Celebration: A once in a lifetime trip to the country I've always dreamt of visiting to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
Meetings: while we always love to see PassPorters, I doubt very much that any will be out there at the same time as us!

We are planning a trip from April 20-May5th. Myself, my husband, and two children who will be 12 and 10. Also joining us are my brother and his wife and children and my parents and my other brother.

Anyone know how busy it is likely to be considering Easter will be over for a full week before we arrive?

Celebration: To do something without the kids (the kids will be staying with grandma and grandpa)
Must-Do's: Ground zero, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, see a Broadway show, go to the Blue Note, Times Square, have some genuine New York style pizza at one of the historic pizzerias (so we can compare with Chicago style)

We're planning to take Amtrak from grandma's house to NYC and then walk/use the subway to get around.

Date: April 11th -18th
Adventurers: Me, 28, 12th trip to WDW; DH (Andy - brit_invader), 28, 12th trip to WDW with me, 14th trip overall.
Resort/Hotel: All Star Movies (a first)
Celebration: Spring seems to be the new addition to our annual trips...We loved our trip last spring and the Flower and Garden Festival is a must for us now
Meetings: Spending as much time as possible with The Bakers, or our Disney Florida Friends (that's how I refer to them to folks around here...not sure if I've told them that yet....) We love our Brandi and Pom time!

On April 25, 2009 we leave for our first Disney Cruise on Magic. We will be visiting St. Thomas, Tortola and Castaway Cay.

There will be the four of us, DH, DD, DS and myself. The kids are 13 and 15 and are really looking forward to this. Im just as excited as they are. I love all the pre-planning for a trip. Now that the trip is only a few months away, Im researching hotels to stay at in Cocoa Beach. Reading reviews, etc.

September 2009 will be our 20th Anniversary so this trip is an Anniversary celebration and also rest and relaxation.
