| Keeping my fingers crossed Am hoping we can get a trip in to FL later this year. We just got back from a wonderful week in Savannah. DH had a business trip and DD and I tagged along. We aren't exactly frugal on vacation, but it did save a bunch to do double-duty. Well, next spring's conference will be in either Dallas (no great interest to go there again) or DC (we're already planning to take DD in 2010). And until I'm done with this DAR chairmanship, travel in May probably isn't a great idea anyway. But in the meantime, this same committee is meeting in Marco Island in Dec. We managed to do a couple of days in Orlando and attend DNiece's UCF graduation in connection with the Marco conference in 06. And DD has been telling her dad regularly that she wants to go back to Marco. So send travel pixies this way, please. Besides the big issue of simply going or not, there's the where-to-fly question -- Orlando, and get in a couple of Disney days on either end of the conference (but what will that do the the "big Disney trip" we're planning for '09?); Tampa, and do the aquarium and Busch Gardens; or Ft Myers and have extra days for south FL and the everglades. Oh, if only time and money weren't limited!
