Celebration: Running the Disney 1/2Marathon..followed by Sea World/Universal, followed by 3 night Disney Cruise
Meeting: Not sure yet, have to wait to see if I survive the Marathon first!!!

Nothing planed other than that...trying to figure out best way to go. Package deal with dining plan or doing it individually. Also, does Disney ever offer free dining in January?

We are sailing on THE WONDER our 1st cruise: Jan 31-Feb. 4 2010. Then adding a stay at WDW for the weekend. Robb (husband) & myself, Ryan (age 11) Claire (age 7), & my parents will be sailing!! We are very new to the cruise thing but have been to WDW many times. We are excited to try this out!

What: trip to WDW
When: Jan 9th - Jan 19th
Who: me (3rd trip) & DH (2nd trip) - our first as DH & DW!
Where: WL - never stayed here before - heard lots of good things about it!
Why: Mostly just because we love Disney so much. Also to celebrate getting engaged at CRT August 6, 2007! We are planning to go in January, as we heard it's less crowded, and this is also a good time for DH to take off (I can take off almost whenever I want, he is more restricted) We found out how hot and crowded it is in August!
Meetings: never thought about this before! We may have to see if we can try this, when we know our dates.

We have not made definite plans yet, as we are (not very patiently) waiting for the 2010 rates to come out. I didn't know they don't normally come out til Aug 1 or so, and I'm going crazy! Will come back to update when we've made more definite plans.

Celebration: Mark & Paige's first trip, my first half marathon, a family weekend for the 3 Garland kids (& spouses)

Celebration: My wonderful husband bought a mom and me trip for us. We have spent very little time just us since the birth of my ds 18 months ago.
Meetings: Hoping for one but it doesnt seem to many folks will be there at the same time. I am kinda sad as this would be the first time I could meet up with fellow pp's. My ds needs to go to bed early so we couldn't do anything in the past : (
I will however be able to visit with a dear friend who lives in Fla so this is good : )

Where: CBR
Why: Main reason- although we have all been more than once, this will be our 1st family trip together in WDW!!! And, just because we love Disney so much.

Adventurers: (who's going with you, their ages, and their experience): Just DH and me. This will be our 6th trip together (only 2 of those have been w/kids!) and my 9th lifetime trip.
Resort/Hotel: (where you are staying): Beach Club
Celebration: (why you are going, even if just for R&R): DH is running the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge for the 2nd time (actually, he's doing the "Dopey Challenge" because he's also running the Family 5K on 1/8). I'm running the 5K just for grins, but no long distance running for me this time.
