Are you planning a trip sometime in January 2004? If so, share your dates and plans with your fellow travelers here! The following information is helpful to know. You can copy and paste it into your post or rearrange it as you see fit!

Destination:

Date: (when you'll be there, arrival to departure)

Adventurers: (who's going with you, their ages, and their experience)

Resort/Hotel: (where you are staying)

Celebration: (why you are going, even if just for R&R)

Meetings: (places you'll be at if others want to join you, plus ways fellow travelers can spot you, such as wearing a PassPorter Pin, etc.)

Feel free to post even if your plans aren't firm -- you're always welcome to return and update us when you've made more plans!

When you return from your trip, we encourage you to share your adventure with us in our Sharing The Adventure message board!

Keep your fingers crossed that the weather holds and our flight isn't delayed or worse yet cancelled. <img border="0" alt="[Pouting]" title="" src="graemlins/pout.gif" />

Date: January 9 - 16, 2003

Adventurers: I'm going with my brother, sister-in-law, 5 year old niece and 2 1/2 year old nephew.

Resort/Hotel: BCV

Celebration: We're going for R&R. We'll be celebrating my nephew's 3rd birthday - breakfast at Cape May Cafe. My niece will get to have breakfast at CRT. Me - ice cream at the garden grill. Sounds like alot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Meetings: Not sure yet

I can't wait to get there ... anyone else going?

We'll be there!!

Dates: Dec 28-Jan 4

Adventurers: My boyfriend John (28) and I (25): I've been to Disney around 15 times (lost count!) but John has only been once when he was a little boy! I can't wait to make this the most magical adventure for him.
Plus this is the first time I'm planning the trip. I've usually just gone with my 2 younger sisters and my parents, so this will be a treat (small group!) It's a lot easier to find a table for 2 than a table for 5 (believe me I know!)

Resort/Hotel: Marriott Grande Vista (the parents are letting me use the timeshare. WHOOPEE

(thank goodness because John and I are VERY poor college students, saving up for tickets and spending money is already taking its toll!)

Celebration: This is the only vacation John's going to get for a while (he's a 3rd year med student!) Plus I get a break from my MBA program for a few weeks and we are going to take advantage of every free minute!

Meetings: If anyone is going to be in the parks during this time, let me know!

John and I are SO looking forward to this time together, and what better place than the most magical place on Earth!

Travelers: Me (43yo Disney fanatic); DD (10yo Disney fanatic); Darling Mother (67yo making first tirp since 1977)

When: Jan. 1-6
Where: Wilderness Lodge -- not the Villas
Why: we just joined DVC and I want my mom to experience all the magic; plus I've always dreamed of seeing the Christmas Magic

We'll be around if anyone wants to do a "meet"

Date- January 31st - February 5th 2004

Who - Me ( 33 yo housewife and professional Disney trip taker)

DD ( 14 yo Highschooler that still wants to spend time with mom at WDW )

Where - All Stars Movies ( Hoping for Dalmation building( DD request) )

Why ?? - My DD is growing up and I want to spend some quality time with her.

I have three daughters and I have planned three separate trips for each of them and this is the first one. I am so looking forward to some WDW time with each of my DD's. They are each different so each trip will be different.

Adventurers: Me(40-something...ok...42!) DH (42), DD (10),
DD(6), Mother(65), Stepfather(65)...and he has
never been before!!
Resort/Hotel: Polynesian Concierge! Yippee
Reason for going: My mother's health is very bad. She wanted to take another trip with us before she is to weak to.

Oh yeah!

I think we're going back in January!

Date: Tentatively, 1/22-1/28/04

Adventurers: Same crew we had last year. DW, DD(12), DS(9), and our close friends who have one DS (10) going with us, and maybe a DD(16), too, if she doesn't think she's "too old for Disney World" like her older sister.

Resort/Hotel: Contemporary through SoG again

Celebration: The kids have 2 days off from school so we're taking a week off.

Meetings: Nothing planned but we always seem to run into Passporters when we're there. Wear your pins, folks!

We had all been in denial saying that we couldn't do the trip again in 2004 but we all finally gave in to the pressure earlier this week.

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!

Update: Our friends had to cancel out right before Christmas.

The husband had a very important project come up at the last minute and couldn't afford to be away from work for a week. He wanted his wife and kids to go on without him but they wouldn't so it is just our family going.

We'll still have fun but we will sure miss them.

Resort/Hotel: Not sure of hotel yet. BWI last year.
Celebration: Loved it last year, want to go back even for 2 days, 1 night.

Oh yeah! I got a deal at the Swan $152 a night with my AAA discount (from $325). We are staying in Sanibel and just driving up for one night. I got my reservations at CRT for my princess and prince (actually for me, I am more excited)!! Can't wait!! It's snowing here today!!

JANUARY 2004 VACATION
WHEN? January 18 through February 1st.

WHO? Me, a 31 year old domestic engineer,my 33 year old husband

,our two daughters, ages 6

,and
9
WHERE? WILDERNESS LODGE

WHY? To celebrate our 10 year anniversary

,and for some much needed family time

We will be celebrating our anniversary

with breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table as well as, at The Garden Grill to have a "Rehitchin Ceremony"

.
We also have a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. and another one for CRT.

I AM SO EXCITED!

Adventurers: Just my mum and I! Dorothy 50 something and Gina 24. This will be our 5th visit. But this time no men to slow us down!!
Resort/Hotel: Port Orleans Riverside
Celebration: In need of a Disney fix!

Date:1/24-1/31
Adventurers: Me (41 and 28th trip) DH (36, but turning 37 as his birthday is the 23rd and that is the day we start traveling to WDW, 4th trip) and DD (5, 3rd trip)
Resort: Ft Wilderness cabin.
Celebration: A week long 37th birthday party for DH? Not really, it just worked out that way. We are just looking forward to being together as a family in a place we all love.

This will be our third trip as a family to WDW. I think since it is DH's birthday the day we leave and we are driving I will sing Happy Birthday to him all the way there. All 1153 miles of the trip. Or maybe I will book my wanna be bass pro a fishing trip on Bay Lake as a belated birthday gift.

 Adventurers: Me (27) - I've been twice, 2/03 & 8/03; Mom (62) & Dad (60) - NEVER been! 

 Resort/Hotel: Caribbean Beach Resort 

 Celebration: This trip, (plus 4 nights on the Disney Wonder before) is a gift to my parents for their 40th Wedding Anniversary, BUT - I had to go with them

They wanted to go and I think they deserve it. I just wish they would get excited!! 

 Meetings: You'll be able to spot me easy,
I'll have my: Passporter Pin , DisneyDollarless Pin , AllEars Pin , and DIS pin.
