Sept. 1999 with the hurricane and Sept 11, 2001. We were 3 hours away by car and turned around. Went back in December 2001 and had the greatest vacation of our lives. We told the Yacht Club about our run of bad luck and they gave us an upgrade from standard to concierge. 85 degrees everyday for 10 days and was part of the ABC Christmas special. Amazing trip. The Yacht Club is fantastic. ![]() |
