| OK, I will post about us, it is DH and I, we will be 50 by then. We are taking this cruise to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It will be our 4th Disney cruise. Thinking about flying out on the 15th and spending a couple of days at DL. We go back and forth on it. We probably will!

| Just an update, DH and I (grandparents who will be a young 59 and 58 at the time) will be traveling with DH's sister and her family (niece will be 13.5 and nephew will be days away from his 11th bday while on board). We have tried to schedule this trip for some time and could not because the summer is the only time the kids can go and the Disney boats have been elsewhere this summer! DSinL and her DH CBK (cruised before kids) but it's the first time for DH and I. THis was to have been my retirement cruise but now I'm second guessing leaving work. I may have a deal on the table to retire and then return part time doing special projects. I'd appreciate a few pixies on that if you have any to spare. With three new grandbabies between October 2007 and March 2008 I need to keep a few bucks in my pocket to spoil them as much as I have their older brothers (one is 18 (brother to the twins that will arrive in 2008) and one is almost 6 (see sig pic))! Can't wait to go. |

| We went Christmas shopping for the kids last night. This is the first year we had a really hard time finding what they want, but I think we did OK. I agree with Lynn no Christmas just Cruise but my kids wouldn't buy it either. I also tried to use remeber we're going to WDW for New Years & that didn't work either!

Anyway, about us.. it is just Dh and I, the kids ( teens- high school) start back to school on 8/20 so no cruise for them. we are flying in on Saturday ( no extra time for us) and staying by the airport and taking a shuttle to the port. If anyone wants to hook reservations for dinner let me know. We are late dining and promise to shower before dinner and won't eat with our fingers or make rude noises | |

| We're late dining too... not that DH is happy about it but it might work out better for the kids. Last time the youngest tended to nod off during the show as we had main dining. Seeing the show before our later dinner would probably be best for him!

| Good question regarding vaccines - best advice is to check with your health care provider and see if anything needs updating. Hepatitis A (and sometimes B) is recommended. Also, check to see when your last tetanus booster was - most don't know the answer to that question! Anyone sailing with children - make sure they're current with all of their boosters, too. The biggest worry when cruising is the Norovirus, which has no vaccine available, just practice good handwashing. Get used to using hand-wipes as you will be handed them all the time! Another thing to check now is PASSPORTS!! Find them and make sure they're not expired, or will expire soon. Actually go and physically get your passport - I can't tell you the number of guests I've had that couldn't find their passport. It wasn't where they thought it should be and panicked! Check the expiration date of children's passports as they are only good for 5 years. DCL would like your passport number 75-days prior to sail date so make sure you're good to go!!
