12/20/2008 Disney Magic - Costa Maya Double Dip

Is there anybody cruising over the Christmas holiday this coming December? We went on our first Disney Cruise (first ever cruise too) this past December (the Magic 12/1 to 12/8) and loved it SOOOOOO much that we booked again - but this time we're going on the special itinerary one and one that I don't have to pull my kids out of school for (my son will be in the third grade and Maryland starts their heavy testing at that grade level).
So - I hope that I see some of you on-board in just about 11 months! :-) :-)

Hoping to see some Passporter people onboard the Magic at Christmastime! :-) We are cruising to the Western Caribbean - double dipping at Castaway Cay - and also to Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Christmas on the Magic

dbxazd - we will be onboard with you. . . . we will have a group of 17 celebrating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary . . . . we also picked this week so all of the grandkids would be able to go . . . without anyone missing school. Ages will range from 8 to 21 for the grandkids, then the rest of us are in our 40s, with the inlaws in their 70s . ..

We cruise in 2007 on the Magic with the in-laws . . . the rest of the crew have never been on Disney, with 7 never cruise ever before . . . We are all very excited . . . though my sister-in-laws think I am crazy being on the message boards already! I really don't have the time for this, but it is so much fun planning and talking with others . . .

Do you know what we can expect? I think it will be weird being on the ship Christmas day.

Hope to hear from you and other who will be on board.

Magic Christmas

We'll be on board too. We got hooked on Disney cruising after the Inaugural Med cruise - our first ever. Can't wait to see the Christmas decorations!

hinsok 1 - I'm not quite sure what to expect being on board on Christmas day - last December when we went the whole boat (and Castaway Cay) had Christmas decorations up and it was beautiful! I'm hoping that Santa will make a visit for my DS (8) and DD (6) and our friends who are coming too have a DD (9) and DS (6). The kids are a little worried that they will be missing Christmas......but we're not even really discussing it with them since it's so far away (time is still a hard concept for them to wrap their little young heads around! ). I know that Santa will also visit back here in Maryland so they'll have Christmas waiting for them when we get home!
Looks like there'll be some members of your group that will be in the Oceaneer Lab with our 2 older ones (my son who is 8 and our friends daughter who will be 9).
Can't wait to be on board - and love chatting with ya'll!
