We are going and I am so excited!

It's our second Disney cruise and our first 7-day, with me, DH, DD (will be 9) and DS (will be 5).

DH has a conference at the Contemporary (which is how I convinced him we should go), so the kids and I will fly out, probably, Thursday and spend Friday at a park before embarking on Saturday. We'll stay in DH's room, which will be paid for by the company, so we won't have to pay for the extra night - which we're happy about, since we can't handle the stress of flying the same day as the cruise!

So, anybody else signed up for this one yet?

Just wanted to add on that my in-laws decided they wanted to go, too. And it turns out that we will be on Castaway Cay on MIL's birthday. So the group is now:

We don't have any plans for excursions yet - I want to wait for the 2009 Passporter, if I can, to see if anything's changed. But I hope some other Passporters are going with so I can say "hi"!

My husband and I will on that cruise also. we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary, It's our first cruise ever and are very excited!!!

Yay! Happy Anniversary trip!

This is our second Disney cruise - we took the 3 night to Nassau in December, 2007. DH and I have also done 2 weekend "quickies" to Ensenada, Mexico previously. So this is our first "vacation" cruise (as opposed to long weekends). I have a few other vacations to get through this year before I can start obsessing about the next cruise, but I'm anxiously awaiting the 2009 edition of the Passporter. Meantime, I'm rereading my 2007 edition....

We are, again, in a balcony stateroom on deck 6 - can't go back to porthole after trying it....

Where are you from, disnynut?

I'm looking forward to:
- Palo, perhaps with just DH (and maybe the 4 of us one night)
- surprising MIL with birthday decorations in her stateroom
- Nighttime activities for DD and DS (like PJ party and such)
- getting a massage - I skipped it last time
- Palo Brunch, though I'm not setting myself up to be bitterly disappointed if we don't get a ressie. Being Castaway Club members, though, we have the advantage of 90 bookings, rather than 75 days.

Let me tell you, the high point of our trip (we all agreed) was Castaway Cay. That's why it's so cool that MIL will celebrate her b-day that day. It was the ultimate "tropical island" and the fact that it's all hooked to your stateroom (charges, food, etc) as if you were still on the ship is just wonderful. MIL doesn't even want to go to Palo that night - so that she has more time on Castaway Cay and with her grandkids on her birthday!

My group is traveling from the D.C. area and my mom, stepdad and friend are coming from San Diego.

This is our second Disney cruise and we too are looking forward to Castaway Cay. It really is the best part of the experience. On this trip we are also looking forward to Key West. My husband was stationed there 21 years ago and we are eager to have him show us around.

Woohoo, Andria! The more the merrier. I'm so glad that other Passporters will be on the trip...
