My first Disney cruise ever and actually at this point my first cruise period and I chose a 14-day pond crossing! But I am thrilled beyond words and so excited to be going and that I could at least afford this one! I started looking at the 2010 cruises the minute they announced them. As I scrolled down the page, my hope of taking a Disney European cruise kept slipping further and further away as the prices kept getting higher and higher. And then at almost the very end, there it was- Transatlantic starting at $999/person! Hey, I can do that... Then I figured if I'm going to be on a boat for 14-days I would want a little more room than the Category 11 and probably would want a balcony. The regular balconies were probably going to be a bit out of my price range, but I figured I could just about swing a Category 7 Navigator's Verandah. I remembered reading on Mousesavers about the secret verandah rooms so I made a list of those 4 cabin numbers and pulled up pics on Allears and Castaway Club. I did some dry runs on the DCL website to make sure I knew how to get through the prompts quickly and what would be asked so there would be no surprises. I was in serious training, ya know.. I knew there were only 4 rooms and I knew that the morning the cruises were available for booking was going to be NUTZ! On that glorious morning, I logged on the website at 7am(CST). I ran through the prompts and when I got to the choose your stateroom part, NONE of the rooms were there! I was so disappointed (you have no idea)!!! But then I focused on that little white box that you can enter any room number to check to see if it's available. I entered the number and LO- there it was.. AVAILABLE! = ). Long story still kinda long I had my room booked by 7:04!! Aft on deck 7 and I'm super-duper-duper excited!!!! (can you tell?)

| We are joining you for the cruise, next door. My daughter will be 8. Right now it is just the two of us going on the cruise unless I can convince another family member to share the cabin. We are very excited. It will be our third Disney Cruise by that time and my fourth cruise overall. We'll be quiet neighbors Jennifer

Hi there, I'm going on this cruise as well but I'm cruising solo in a cat. 11 room. It'll be so much fun. Like the first poster, this was my first Disney cruise I've booked. Since then, I booked the three day cruise sailing 2/5 just so I can "get my feet wet".

04/10/2010 - Magic TransAtlantic Crossing/4/24 Med.Cruise/retirees going? Anyone doing the repositioning cruise? My husband and I did the Panama one and loved it. I am a retired teacher and love Disney. Hope to meet up with some of you on the cruise. We are then continuing on with the Med. cruise . Any retirees going? We will be on Deck 2 Catagory 9. Please include us on any get togethers or Secret Mickeys or Fish Extenders for either or both cruises Last edited by Charlotte; 10-23-2009 at 09:31 AM.. Reason: like to meet retirees on the cruise

Looking forward to the repositioning cruise. Since you went what can we expect for all the days at sea? Did anyone continue on to the Meditterean one? We have the same cabin for that one- do we have to repack and reboard? Last edited by Charlotte; 08-15-2009 at 07:03 PM.. Reason: more information
