Looking at the conversations on Party Central, not everyone is receiving an OBC. Anyone here receive their pack yet? I'm still waiting here in VA. Having a tough time getting folks to RSVP it seems they all want to say "maybe"

I received my party pack yesterday. So you should have it very soon. It has all kinds of great stuff inside, I was so excited.

I'm in Orlando, if anyone is interested in attending, please let me know.

Did you receive an on-board credit in the pack? Its seems about 1/2 of people are getting them, so I wonder how they decide who gets one and who doesn't? A bit disappointing, since they originally said all the packs were identical. I'm thrilled about the pack and the party either way though. Its gonna be super cool to get fun Disney stuff in the mail!
I'm a little worried because I saw teh fedex man in my neighborhood and I had to go out & came back and nothing here. I hope it wasn't stolen.

I know this was one of the complaints that folks had last time they did the house party. I guess last time they underestimated how many people you could get at a party when you mentioned disney and cruising together, and I heard they weren't as good in communicating how many items would be in the party pack. So some folks invited tons of folks only to find they had to buy their own party supplies.

Hopefully you can find a way to break your guests up into groups that can split a party favor set.

Yeah, this is the part that sucks... The adults, I wasn't too worried about - I can make several pitchers of konk kooler.....But they have children and if one child sees another with a toy or tattoos/stickers.... you know the rest.... They could never send enough things for the kids as far as I am concerned..

orionchika - do you happen to have any recipes from the cruise ships? My DH had the penne pasta dish at Animator's Palate and loved it. Would love to have that recipe if available.

TIA

So are we certain some people are getting on-board credits? We received our party pack in the mail today and we don't appear to have the OBC.

This site has DCL recipies Disney Cruise Line Recipes

When HP originally had the list of party pack items, it listed an OBC. It doesn't list it anymore.

Everyone is supposed to receive "tokens" which actually look like cards (these are how your guests enter to win the cruise), but many folks are not receiving those in the packs, according to the conversation on Party Central.

I have not received my pack yet. Soem folks seem to have Fedex tracking numbers but I don't know how they got them unless they contacted HP directly for them.

I received an e-mail from FedEx with a tracking number, but not until after the package was delivered.

did you get the tokens? Since those are the way folks enter to win the cruise, it will be awkward if they don't show up, since my invite said they'd have a chance to win. I'm curious to see what HP and/or DCL says about those missing from so many party packs.
I sure hope the pack comes tomorrow. I'd planned to use this weekend to sort thru it & decide who gets what in goodie bags vs. what I'll use for game prizes.

I have the tokens and unless I am very confused (which is possible) I have way to many. I received several packages. If someone needs, PM me your address and number of party guests.

Sandy

Here are the "rules" from the house party token page:
HOW TO ENTER; PARTY TOKEN REDEMPTION AND FORWARDING; ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY; LIMITS.
TO ENTER ONLINE BY REDEEMING AND FORWARDING PARTY TOKENS:
On or about November 14, 2009, each party host ("Host") of a Disney Cruise Line House Party will receive a package containing party tools, including one (1) package with five (5) physical "Conversation Tokens" (the "Physical Token") in the package. Each Physical Token will contain a token number and a token entry code. Hosts will be instructed to use one (1) Physical Token for themselves and distribute the remaining Physical Tokens to some or all of his/her party guests. In order to redeem a Physical Token for a Sweepstakes entry, recipients of Physical Tokens must visit www.tokens.houseparty.com (the "Party Token Website") and complete the online Sweepstakes registration process, including submitting the token codes on his/her Physical Token. Once registration is completed, participants will receive an email with a confirmation code to verify their registration by visiting the Party Token Website. Once a participant's registration has been verified, he/she will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry.
Once a participant has verified his/her registration in the Sweepstakes (whether through redemption of a Physical Token as described above or an E-Token as described below), he/she may go to a confirmation page on the Party Token Website that allows him/her to enter up to twenty (20) email addresses and send twenty (20) electronic "Conversation Tokens" (the "E-Token") from the Party Token Website. Each E-Token will contain a unique identification number. In order to receive additional entries, an entrant must distribute one (1) E-Token, along with instructions to register, from the forward to a friend message template on the Party Token Website, to up to twenty (20) friends who have not already registered for the Sweepstakes. For each friend that subsequently registers for the Sweepstakes using the unique identification number and entry code on the E-Token received, such friend (if otherwise eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes and subject to these Official Rules) will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry and the sender of the E-Token will receive one (1) additional Sweepstakes entry. Friend email addresses are used in the Sweepstakes only to forward E-Tokens and will not be added to Sponsor's contact list unless separately collected by Sponsor. Friend email addresses will be verified against Sponsor's opt-out lists and an email address associated with an opt-out will not have an email forwarded.
Once any Party Token has been used for Sweepstakes registration, it will be void and may not be used again. All Party Token entries must be submitted during the Entry Period. Normal Internet access, phone/usage charges imposed by your on-line/phone service will apply. LIMITS: One (1) registration entry and twenty (20) refer-a-friend entries per person in the Sweepstakes. See Section 13 below ("Data Collection; Promotional Materials") regarding data collected in connection with an entrant's online entry and an entrant's ability to opt-out of/opt-in to receiving marketing and promotional materials. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register and enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the submitted email address. Submitting mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

That IS confusing. So if you keep one for yourself, that leaves you with only 4, and I'm sure most people have invited more than 4 families. One person on HP said they received 70, and many people said they received zero. This is shaping up to be quite the little drama, huh?!
I'll see what tomrrow brings (the Fedex man?) and then you may be hearing from me, Sandy thanks for the info.
