Thanks. I was beginning to think that no passporters were going to be on this cruise. I'm pago's husband. I probably should delete my thread, but at least there is somebody else out there.

Glad to hear from you.
it's gonna be great!
we are pretty bummed that our day in Rome is a Sunday. Did you realise the Vatican is only open in the AM and is closed to private tours?? This means our time will be severely-limited and we will be shoulder-to-shoulder to those tourists too cheap to go any other day. Sigh.
Anyways, my Canadian crew is committed to best vacation, ever, no matter what!!!
waltcanada, I noticed that certain Rome tours were closed to us, but hadn't put 2 and 2 together on days of the week. I wonder if they have mass in the morning? But you noted it is open in the AM and no private tours.
Time to do more research.
I was in Italy for Palm Sunday about 30 years ago. Some of us went to mass in Rome thinking that it would take forevery - as usual for Palm Sunday. WRONG - whole mass took 30 minutes. Italian is a fast language.
Off to do research.
Teresa, any suggestions? And, where in Indiana - not specific, North South Center??
I'm from Crown Point/northwest Indiana. Moved to Michigan to go to school.
Okay. The Vatican is closed on Sundays, except for the last Sunday of the month. Turns out we are on the last Sunday of the month. It's open! But sounds like it will be crowded.
