| Photopass CD problem I got my CD today and popped it into the drive, clicked on "view photos" and.... nothing. The 15 folders holding nearly 300 photos pop up, some show photos are "in" the folder, others look blank. I click a folder to view my pictures and it takes a few moments and then i get the message "photopass photos not responding". The CD looks funny to me, like there is a defect on it, but not on the surface, it's "inside" the disc itself. I'm useing Windows Vista on a fairly new Dell notebook with plenty of hard drive space and speed so what gives? ![]() I emailed photopass and got a "stock" reply saying that it could take a week for them to get back to me... anyone have any other ideas??? I'm open to trying anything to view my pics. I hope i didn't waste $100 on this CD. |

| I too have a dell and just got my cd, I have windows vista aswell, I had no problems, but it was a little tricky at first. I did open it in EXPLORER then saved them to my computer. double click on the folder itself it should open in a new window.

| Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think the cd is defective because if i try to open the folders, i get a message that the program is not responding. Looking at the cd, i see a couple of marks embedded into it and i think that is the problem. I'm a little bummed that Photopass isn't responding to my email other than their generic "we'll get back to you" response. Keep your fingers crossed that they'll send me a new cd soon.... i so want to see my pics! |

| I'd wait a couple of days and then send another email. I'm sure they will replace it for you if it is defective.

| If its not responding and its freezing up it sounds like there is a problem with the drive reading the data, the disc is probably corrupted. Sorry to hear that. I'm sure Disney will send you another one. You'd think for $100, they'd have a way to allow people to download them off a website in addition to the CD. |
