| Taking Pictures at the Parks (on Vacation/Events) I always feel like I'm taking too many pictures when I'm at the parks (or any other event). I feel like I'm not taking enough time to stop and enjoy the moment with my family/friends. But, when I go home, I ALWAYS feel like I didn't take enough pictures. I feel like I should have taken alot more pictures and video. And I always promise myself I will take more next time. And the cycle repeats itself. |

| I think of the photos as memory triggers. They help you tell the story of the place / event to yourself and others. There is always a lot more to experience than how things look... taste, smell, feel, sound...

| Because of the crowds and the kids, we missed ALOT of photo ops. Which is fine, I accept that. Thats probably part of the reason I want to go back the first week of Dec. To get all those pics i didn't take. Its tought to get everyone to stop and pose, especially in the front of Magic Kingdom where you have all those great photo ops. With all the crowds and the two strollers, you really just want to keep moving. |

| I always take lots of photos - on our last 19 night vacation, between DH and I, we shot off over 10,000 photos. Yes, a lot of those were deleted, but it meant we pretty much caught every aspect of our time in Disney.

| I'm with WillCAD on this one. Some of my favorite shots ever were taken on vacation of something I would not have seen if I weren't on vacation. Cheers Craig

| I take tons of pitcures in Disney. The trick is to (hopefully) remember to go through them EACH NIGHT and delete the ones that are blurry or that you have more than one of from that day. I took 900 in December in 4 days and came home with 650-ish. It saves the memory on the card you are using there and it saves time at home from looking trought them all before uploading. |

| I'm a firm believer in taking lots and lots of photos, and I still get to enjoy the area I'm in and "stop and smell (and photograph) the roses". I tend to take less when Abby (our 2 year old granddaughter) is with us because I'm the designated baby sitter/watcher/play buddy but I still take a few... Between Jan and I, we manage 5000+ on a 7 day vacation, 3 night trips will easily top 1500 between us. I'm also a believer in never deleting a photo, no matter how bad or out of focus, but that's just me... I have programs to salvage some of the out of focus photos, and you never know when the out of focus photo can be used for a background on a project or behind another photo of the same area... Everything gets downloaded to a computer (or two) every night and everything is stored on a server hard drive and backed up to DVD when we get home. We have wonderful memories of all our trips, but the photos remind us of little things we tend to sometimes forget, and they also show us things we didn't see when we were looking. I don't think you can ever take too many photos....
