| Panasonic vs. Sony I have been researching a new mega zoom digital camera and have narrowed it down to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 or the Sony CybershotDSC-H50. Does anyone have any feedback on either of these? My last 3 cameras have been Kodak and after all the reviews I've read, I'm afraid I've been missing out. My Kodak takes great outdoor pics and have enjoyed but feel I need more now, but am not ready for a DSLR. Thanks! ![]() |

| Steve's-Digicam.com is where I go for reviews and he has a "Complete Hands On" review of the Panasonic camera Steves Digicams - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 - Hands on Review and a small preview of the Sony Steve's Digicams - Breaking News - Sony 02/25/2008 Press Release They both look very much Alike in the pictures. I never did like Kodak's but I'm a Nikon fan but I'm a Panasonic fan when it comes to Camcorders

| I have a Sony at home and the Panasonic Lumix for work. I think both are great, although personally we're Sony fans here.
