| Anyone have a Canon SD1100 IS Digital Elph?? Or it's predecessor? We're looking at getting a new point and shoot before our trip next month (my Nikon Coolpix is 4 or 5 years old) and this is the one I'm focusing on. I've found a great deal at Costco ($210 including a 2GB SD card). I didn't want to break the bank so I want to stay around the $200 limit. It was highly rated on cnet.com and some of the other sites ![]()

| Marnie, I'm curious to see the answers you get because I'm looking at the same camera for our trip in 2 weeks. I have the SD400 which is about 5 years old and the pictures are becoming faded looking.

| I don't have one Marnie, but I do know a few folks using the predecessors. No one has any complaints, they all love them. Small, easy to use, sturdy is what I hear most.
