Looking for software

We just got back from a wonder 10 day vacation to WDW. Of course I took way too many pictures (like that is really possible). I scrapbook which is going to take a while. I am interested in doing something different with all the pictures I took.

I am looking for a software that will make movies from digital pictures. I want something that will do more than a slide show. I am looking for something that will fade from one picture to the next and add music to the movie. This will be the first time attempting something like this so I do not want something that will be easy to use. Any Suggestions? TIA.

I use Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus and its a really powerful software.
Here is a sample of using pictures to create a video.

Microsoft Photo Story is free and simple as dirt. It's not feature rich but it does do fades, zooms and you can add music.
