| Photos taken for church directory.... ...this has been a pain since the start. Miscommunication on the part of the guy that was in charge of the project has made it almost impossible... basically we have a makeshift studio in one of the rooms at the church with some fabric tacked to the wall and I'm bouncing my flash off the ceiling. It's actually working pretty well IMHO... here are a few from this weekend... (gotta go back and finish it up next weekend!)  This is my mom helping me set up my camera's settings. Don't tell her I showed you! (I could have made $50 if I'd been brave enough to put it on the big screen at church yesterday lol)  This is my mom's best friend and her family, so I shot a few more of them than what was required lol. She's the church secretary and her grandsons aren't going to be here all year so we had to shoot a few different portraits. It was... *fun* LOL  The boys are so sweet! I love them!  Now you can see what the fun was about!  The music minister and his wife. He's headed to Africa this week.  I still have to edit these and all, but I played around with a few and this one is my favorite  Overall I'm very happy. I haven't done a "studio" type session since March of 2007, when I worked for Sears Portraits, so I was a bit nervous. Hopefully when they do this again we will have a real set up. *hopefully*
