| Okay, so it's a working title. Anyway, I got inspired to start a scavenger hunt type photography game. This was brought about by reading all of Bill's answers with "Get out and SHOOT! Practice, practice, practice!" and what better way to do that than with a photographic assignment? This will be a monthly game, kinda like the scrapbook forum has. We'll go with a theme or an object and we'll run with it. Photos can be just a quick point and click - but the idea is for all of us to improve our knowledge of our cameras... and to show our creativity, as well as get us outta the house/computer room this winter! Basically it'll be my personal motivation to pick up my camera outside of portraits and school. I guess the rules will be simple 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box! 5. HAVE FUN! so before we actually start, lets brainstorm some ideas of themes or objects to shoot. we can go with a series of objects (different sports balls - tennis, baseball, etc) one month and then a theme (emotion, love, anger, etc) the next month... Any takers?

| Sounds great - sign me up! Just remember not to make the list of objects, nor the theme, too closely tied to any one region, nor even any one continent / country. We Disney fanatics come from AAALLL over, after all! |

| though that's also where interpretation comes inI could say 'exotic animal' and where my mind would go to the wilds of Africa, someone else might consider the wildlife in my area just as exotic... it actually makes it more fun when it's difficult. I find the easy stuff to be the hardest... but definitely keep it in mind.

| ![]() ![]() I asked my husband if he thought she was bad this morning, what would she be like when she got PMS...he just shook his head and laughed. I said can you imagine what her poor future husband is going to have to put up with??? He laughed and said, "I guess I'll have to have a sit down talk with him, and let him know we gave up on her attitude when she was 7!"

| Theme / Category ideas:
(I would have put "kids" up there, because a lot of us have families of our own, and kids always make for good pictures with all the silly things they do ... but for childless guys like me, that would be a very difficult category to take part in; people tend to get a bit antsy about male strangers taking pictures of random children, nowadays ...
