photopass cd

Is there a deadline on the prordered photo pass CD? I preordered the CD before my trip last month, but now I am going in June with my nieces and would rather use it then. Will I still be able to use it or do I need to cancel it and preorder again later?

If I remember correctly, I *think* the preorder is good for 6 months -- can anyone verify? Once you have pictures on the card, I believe you have 30 days to edit, add borders and request your CD.

No problem...you can enter as many PhotoPass cards as you want when you get home. I am a scatterbrain and was always forgetting my at the hotel and had to ask for a new one nearly every day! A tip that really saved me -- take a picture of all your Photopass cards on your own digital camera. That way, you will have the numbers in case you lose the card.

You have 30 days to claim your photos and then another 30 days before they expire on the PhotoPass web site. So, combining the two trips onto your pre-purchased PhotoPass CD would not be an option for you because the trips are 6 months apart.

You might find the information bradk has on his website helpful: Definitive Guide to Disney's PhotoPass

Hope this helps!

I don't think there are two trips to combine... they had to move their trip back a few months, and had preordered the CD months ago when their trip was sooner...

at least that's how I read it?

Oops! You're right! I think my brain was in a fog longer than usual this morning.

(And after re-reading the original question again) I don't know if there is an 'expiration' on the pre-purchased CD. Kori is thinking maybe 6 months and I know I read in another thread someone thought it was 90 days. I just checked our e-mail with the pre-purchased CD code in it, but there is no mention of an expiration date other than picture 'expirations'. Maybe a call to Disney PhotoPass might be the best way to get an answer on this?

When I asked how far in advance we could purchase the preorder I was told 3 months I believe (I'd have to go back and look at the exact email to be sure). It might have been 6 months I just don't remember. Best bet would be to contact the PhotoPass people and ask them.

No problem with having more than one card. We ended up with a total of 3 cards. We just entered the numbers on the back of each card into our PhotoPass account when we claimed the pictures. We also took a picture of the back of each card when we received the card just in case anything should happen to the card itself.
