| Shoot Gallery -- May Theme Theme: New Beginnings I'm back! Last month's theme inspired this one. It's just getting to be Spring here in Alaska, but May really seems to be the month of new beginnings world wide. Babies seems to love being born in this month, flowers are in full bloom, and the wedding season is upon us. And those are just the traditional beginnings. So get out there and share in the new! and to remind everyone of the "rules": 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box!  5. HAVE FUN

| Took this picture on thursday of some of my wife's flowers out on the patio, then added in a layer to give it an aged feeling to it...

|  for the next two triathlons! My younger sister (44) ran her first marathon a couple of weeks ago and said it might just be her last, but she did finish. I was so proud of her.

| Guess I should participate in some of these, eh?  here's a few that I did with this month's theme in mind, but I'm not happy with them... may have to reshoot with a different idea or two.
